“Love the vibe and aesthetic here! The riff on the Pornstar martini was fun and it was delicious. Loved the milk bun. The service was great and I will definitely be back next time I visit!”
“Meo’s retro-inspired, intimate cocktail bar setting brings a playful, stylish energy that looks incredible on camera. I photographed an elopement at Meo last summer and the rich textures, warm lighting, and unique design elements make every frame look cinematic and moody.”
“Stopped by just for a cocktail and ended up staying for a few, always a good sign! The cocktails were amazing especially the Pornstar Martini. The ambiance was great, I'll definitely be going back. We also tried the patatas bravas which were okay.”
“The prettiest interior and vibe. They paid attention to small details such as the “Call me” printed on their napkins. Food was less than good and was simply basic. Was looking forward to more considering it was a sister bar to a Michelin restaurant. Probably would not visit again, as the atmosphere did not justify the quality of the food and drinks.”
“Amazing vibes, mediocre food and fun drinks. Booked a Friday night reso for two at 545pm, two hour seating limit. Warm, dark lighting set the mood very well. Love the lamps and attention to detail in the decor overall. Love the 60/70s vibe, there was a disco ball, fun drink menu with descriptions. Had two drink each, all of them were really good! I’d come back for drinks/happy hour for sure. Sister restaurant to Kissa Tanto, and I’d say the food is wayyy better at Kissa Tanto. Just get drinks if you’re planning to visit Meo. Not a fan of the food, especially for the fine dining level price. Bill was about $250 for 2ppl. Food wasn’t bad per se, but it was very generic and pricy. Ordered deep fried potato, and it tasted like…two large French fries (“PATATA BRAVA” $14). Couldn’t taste much from the sauce either. I liked the presentation of the noodle version of the paella (FIDEUÁ $35), but the flavour was very mediocre and on the salty side. Came with 4 shrimp and 4 oysters. Burger was also just okay, the beef was a bit stringy/tendon-y, didn’t taste like a good quality juicy tender beef. Two thin smash-burger type patties. Cheese on the burger complimented it well though, and bun was soft (BEEF BOURGUIGNON BURGER $31) The Korean beef tartare (YUKHOE TARTARE $24) was pretty good, came with some crisps on the side. Friendly staff, not sure why we were accidentally charged a $50 late cancellation fee after we sat down (notified via email) but the manager rectified it super quickly and said we should receive the refund on the credit card within 2 days. Located 2 blocks away from the sketchiest part of Chinatown.”
