“Bartholomew A trendy bar in yaletown hitting all the right marks! Our server was kind, personable, energetic, and knowledgeable. Absolutely spot on. The atmosphere of the restaurant is moody but bright and very cool! Highly recommend checking it out. All the food options are done with love and care and they obviously have a very confident chef in the back. I would go over all the dishes I ate but frankly you should just go try them out! Will be back!”

“I stumbled into Bartholomew in search of a quick drink and a small snack… and accidentally discovered one of my new favourite bars! The space is cosy and beautifully designed — the kind of place where you plan to stay for one and somehow lose track of time. I started with their clarified cocktail, the Shirnin Yoku, which was silky, herbaceous, and dangerously easy to drink. It felt light and elegant, yet packed with flavour — basically the overachiever of cocktails. The Pan con tomate was the perfect companion: it struck the perfect balance of sweet, savoury and a touch of spice. exactly what I didn’t know I was craving. And then came the real plot twist — the bone marrow crème brûlée. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it absolutely exceeded expectations. Rich, indulgent, and just the right amount of dramatic flair. Who knew bone marrow could wear a dessert crown so confidently? On top of all that, the service was top notch. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of people who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Safe to say I’ll be back soon (strictly for research purposes) to work my way through more of their creative cocktails and dishes. Highly recommend!”

“Compact little bar with great cocktail offerings. Nice to see a place using a lot of handmade syrups, tinctures, and unique ingredients. Sam was wondering at recommending food and drinks. Very professional. Happy from 5 to 6pm and a Late night happy hour option too. Recommend making reservations for 6pm onwards. The place fills up quick.”

“The food is underrated! Would definitely recommend the bar seat so you are able to see the chefs work their craft. The Porchetta, Crème Brûlée and the meatballs are a must try. The Momotaro is a great refreshing cocktail that pairs well with the food.”

“This was my second visit. The first time I came for drinks and dessert, and everything was absolutely excellent. This time, I came back to try the food. Overall, the experience was good and most of the dishes were enjoyable. I ordered the Duck Lollipop based on a friend’s recommendation, but personally it wasn’t my favorite. I found the smell and flavor a bit too strong for my taste. If you’re sensitive to stronger aromas or gamey flavors, you may want to consider a different dish. Other than that, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely return, especially for the drinks and desserts, which I thought were outstanding.”
