“After our Valentine’s Day lunch, we walked a couple of blocks to The Watson, a bar that had been on my list to visit , and it did not disappoint. We arrived right when they opened and were seated immediately, but within an hour the place was completely packed. I loved the interior; the greenery paired with the wood accents made the space feel homey and cozy. After looking over the menu, we started with the War of the Roses and the Ba-Ba Ritz. The War of the Roses tasted exactly as described, very botanical and floral, which I really enjoy. The Ba-Ba Ritz ended up being a favorite for both my fiancé and me. The staff member who took our order described it as their take on cola (if I remember correctly), and it was absolutely delicious. For our second round, I was torn between the Number 33 and the Bijou Bijou. After asking the staff for a more detailed description, I decided on the Number 33 and was very happy with my choice. It tasted just as described, refreshing, with oriental flavors. My partner ordered A Broad Idea, and we both thought it was such a fun experience to have an interactive cocktail. As for food, we kept it simple and ordered the Valentine’s Day dessert special, the creme brulee, along with the sweet and spicy nuts. After cracking through the sugary top, we found that it hadn’t fully set, but it still tasted good. Overall, the drinks were amazing, and the staff were super attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back to try more drinks and possibly some of the food as well.”

“Everything I ordered was an absolute hit! The specialty cocktails were next level!!! I tried a new one each time, and somehow each drink kept getting better. (Number 33 & Momo Milk Punch was my fav) Huge shoutout to the bartenders absolute artist behind the bar! Every drink was balanced, creative, and made with so much attention to detail. You can really tell they know their craft. The food? Chef’s kiss. I ordered the chili parm potatoes, carrots and octopus! and wow, I didn’t even know a carrot appetizer could taste that good! So much flavor. They really killed it in the kitchen. The vibe was amazing, and the staff were so attentive — it made the whole experience even better. I’m definitely coming back!”

“Delicious and inventive cocktails! The one in the picture is No. 33. Food was okay, some items were too salty and the flavours were not to our preference but I think that’s just down to individual tastes. A bit loud inside, had to lean in close to have a conversation.”
