“Came here for a birthday dinner and had such a wonderful experience! Our server, Nicholas, was fantastic, he was super friendly and an absolute delight to chat with. The food was delicious with generous portion sizes, and everything came out perfectly. The atmosphere really made the night special too, cozy vibes with live music that added a great touch without being overwhelming. To top it all off, we were surprised with a small dessert and a birthday shoutout from the pianist which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Highly recommend for a special occasion or even just a cozy dinner.”
“A few days ago I visited Vancouver and had lunch at your restaurant what an amazing experience! The fish tacos and Grilled Albacore Tuna were absolutely delicious; I could really taste all the flavours . I’m a pretty picky eater, but they exceeded my expectations. Then I tried the chocolate cake, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Because I enjoyed it so much, I came back again for dinner. This time, I had the chance to speak in Spanish with a lovely staff member named Fernanda. She was so kind and friendly it’s wonderful to have the option to speak another language and still receive such great service. Once again, the food was fantastic, and the dessert I tried that evening was also excellent. Every single staff member was incredibly nice and welcoming.”
“Celebrated my birthday at Bacchus Vancouver and had an excellent experience! Even though I accidentally booked the wrong time, they accommodated us warmly. The service was outstanding, and every dish we tried,from oysters to Foie gras was delicious and never heavy. The bread was great, especially with their house-made butter. Steaks were fantastic, and the wine recommendations were spot-on. The live piano added such a lovely touch in the charming, historic hotel setting. Highly recommend 🥰”
“We had an exceptional dine-out experience at Bacchus. Every dish was divine and delicious. The service was impeccable, just like you’d expect from a five-star restaurant and the ambiance was lovely and cozy. It was a truly enjoyable fine dining experience that we’d love to have again.”
“I went for their high tea. They only offer this service on the weekends at 2:30pm and 3:00pm. Their high tea is a bit on the pricey side, but they offer more pastries than the average high tea. I thought their tea box set was very cute. You can open each bottle to smell the tea leaves. I got the lavender earl grey. I couldn't really distinctively taste the lavender, but the tea was still lovely. The food came out really quickly. I was surprised at how small the pastries were, but I was still unable to finish everything during my seating and had to pack some items to go. I enjoyed the fruit scone. It had a slight almond flavor, which made me like it even more. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed eating the crumpet, as I normally don't like them and find them too dry. I added some of their clotted cream and strawberry jam to it and it was delicious. The chicken sandwich was one of my favorites. It was lightly curried. The cucumber sandwich was disappointing. The bread was dry, as if it was sitting out for too long, and there was a hint of lemon, which wasn't really to my liking. The tuna sandwich tasted like a regular tuna sandwich. The deviled egg was really good. I enjoyed the Light smoky flavor. The Salmon tart was also really good. I could have ate a few of them. The macaron had a nice chew to it, but I was unable to distinguish what flavor it was. The strawberry chocolate cheesecake was really creamy and tasty. I just wish it was double the size. The jasmine honey profiterole was another one of my favorite items. It was perfectly flavored. The mandarin tartlette was also nice and refreshing.”
