DAYTON'S PREMIER SUSHI EXPERIENCE Located in the back room of award-winning cocktail lounge Tender Mercy, Dozo is an elevated sushi experience with a curated, chef-driven menu of Japanese small plates, delicate nigiri compositions and innovative sushi rolls meant to provide something for everyone. A commitment to creativity and premium, globally-sourced ingredients have established Dozo as a one-of-a-kind "permanent pop-up", right in the heart of Downtown. Additionally, a curated sake and Japanese whiskey list allows for dynamic, optional pairings to enhance your experience. Our former pre-fix menu, "The Tour", has returned with a seperate reservation option for Guests looking to experience a more exclusive, intimate dining experience. We accept parties of 6 people or less via online booking, but can most often accommodate walk-ins as well, so don't hesitate to come down on the fly! Guests must be 21 or older. **We do our best to accommodate allergies and dietary preferences. Please give us 72 hours advanced notice in order to ensure we're able to accommodate you. Please note, if you arrive earlier than your reservation time, we will not be able to seat you until the time of your reservation.

“We ordered the $60 course for one person. The appetizer and six pieces of sushi were too small. The fish may have been of good quality, but the taste was all as you'd expect. Americans who aren't familiar with sushi would be surprised. The chef used snow crab, but he didn't know where it came from. I didn't see the value in the $60.”
