Teresa's has been a local favorite since 1997. Originally began as an Italian restaurant that expanded in 2007 with a Belgian themed bar that has continued to evolve into one of the Philadelphia region's most sophisticated and premier beverage programs for European and craft beer, natural wine, whiskey, gin and a natural and biodynamic wine shop. A 2018 James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Bar Program.
“Cant say enough good things about this spot. Fantastic whiskey and beer selection(and beyond!)… and had 2 great bartenders in Charlie and Sam. Super knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the restaurant, and just extremely welcoming… truly cant wait to go back”
“FANTASTIC AND UNIQUE MENU - We are so glad we stopped in to give Teresa’s Cafe a try. We absolutely enjoyed everything, and especially the eggplant dish. Thanks for a great meal!”
“Really good local restaurant, with adjacent bar. food was great. Lamb meatball and rabbit loin appetizers were tasty. I had pasta with locally foraged mushrooms, delicious, friend had a tower of ribs. Great selection of local, regional and Belgian beer. De Garre (IYKYK) and Pliny on the same menu... fantastic .”
“Had a great experience on Saturday night during the Wayne Music Festival. They got us seated outside quickly. Had this very refreshing and tasty dark rum Jamaican drink that was a specialty drink this month. Went with cornmeal and rice flour coated artichoke appetizer that was incredible along with these baby potatoes in butter, salt and parsley...simple and delicious. Went with the classic chicken parm with linguine in a fresh tomato sauce - I loved the panko breading giving the chicken a nice texture and the fresh mozzarella. Great meal!! 😁”
“02/0726 I had three dishes. The first was the Foie Gras which while small, packed a huge delicious taste. The second dish, was the steak Frites which was somewhat disappointing as I ordered it medium rare, but still felt a bit tough around the edges. The frites I was told were the best around, but didn't quite meet the level of best. The show stopper out of the three was the last dish, the meatball, bread and ricotta. An absolute blow away dish. Very, very good. The bar service could have been more attentive, but being in hospitality, I'll give the bartender the benefit of the doubt as he was quite busy. I would still recommend this place and especially that meatball dish!”
