“This is such a charming bar. The decor, the lighting, the menu…loved it all! We came on a Friday around 4:30 for happy hour and were seated immediately. The service was wonderful and the menu was creative without being too obscure. Looking forward to coming back!”

“Loved this little spot! We went early in the evening, so seating was not an issue. Enjoyed the concept of the mini drink as you peruse the menu, especially for trying a cocktail I normally wouldn't since it didn't feel like I'd be wasting money/product if I didn't like it. I got the Alchemist's Experience, another fun way to try a new drink! They'll ask your preferences before taking your secret ingredient playing cards to the bartender, so you still get something tailored to you.”

“This place was the capstone in a little weekend trip down to KC, and I must way it was so well worth it. The location is quaint and very inviting with a lovely decor. Staff were very attentive, bubbly, and kept up with table conversations. Drinks: which is what youre here for are absolutely delightful. On the sweet side for I'd say the majority of drinks, but that doesn't stop the flavor train, no no. Truelly some inventive and delicious offerings. My personal recommendation is to finish your night with a Cherry Moon, its gotta be in my top 3 cocktails ive ever had. As for the Alchemist experience, what fun! Something so unique and creative, we had a blast playing along. Can't recommend this place enough, if youre a fan of the "speakeasy" style of bar, please please please put this one on your list.”

“The Brass Monkey Lounge is a very unique spot. Visually, it has that modern speakeasy look, but the space is brighter and more open than you’d expect, so it doesn’t feel super intimate, it gives more of a cocktail lounge vibe. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff. They go out of their way to create a genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. That kind of energy is hard to fake, and it’s what makes you want to come back. Additionally, the drinks were flawless in both presentation and in taste. We will be back!”

“It’s the little details that have made this spot stand out to me - from getting to write personalized recommendations in the back of the menu to having the option of the “Alchemy Experience”, this cocktail bar is providing an enhanced experience and worth it for the pricing. The staff here were also great, our server was so fun and outgoing! Loved the vibes of this place and will definitely be back again. P.S. Try the Cherry Moon if you’re a fellow Amaretto Sour lover, the cold foam on top is A+.”
