“One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The fish was fresh, crispy, and incredibly delicious. The person with me never eats fish, but they tried it here and genuinely loved it. I really appreciated that they offer a halal option, which is what we ordered. The sauces were good, but the tartar sauce was definitely the perfect match for the dish. We were lucky to get in without waiting, but right after we sat down, a long queue started forming behind us, which shows how popular the place is. The service was excellent, especially Miguel. It was a very hot and sunny day, and when we asked for extra ice, he brought it quickly so we could enjoy a cold drink while waiting for our food. This is a meal I’ll remember every day when I return home, and I can’t wait to have it again. Highly recommended!”

“Buzzing up market chippy. Very attentive service. Popular place, lots of tourists but food of good quality and decent size portion. At first £26.99 for fish and chips seems a lot but then it can feed two people, plus it’s Mayfair and just off the busy highstreet so to be expected!”

I found the fish and chips to be absolutely yummy, especially as they were served with a nice selection of dressings that complemented the meal perfectly. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. However, keep in mind that there are limited seats available inside, so you will definitely want to make a reservation or be prepared to put your name on the waitlist. Overall, it was a great dining experience with top-tier food.”

“Our experience at Mayfair Chippy was absolutely outstanding, deserving a full five stars! The service was fantastic from the moment we arrived, thanks to the friendly receptionist Ambra. Our helpful server, Nisha, was also wonderful and took great care of us with great recommendations. We shared the delicious fried cod and prawns, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. If you are a couple, I suggest you share different dishes from the menu to savor the cuisine. I especially loved the homemade tartar sauce, which was a perfect complement. A word of advice: make sure to reserve a table before you go, as this place is popular for a reason!”

“We’d heard great things about this place from loads of people. The online booking was a bit of a hassle, and the queue was fairly long, so we ended up getting takeaway. The hake was gorgeous and came with tartar sauce, pea purée, and curry sauce. We loved all three. The chips didn’t really do it for us, but the fish more than made up for it. Plenty there to share, and I’d love to come back for the crab sandwich and mussels next time.”
