“The ROOSEVELT ROOM is definitely a hidden gem in Troy, NY! I discovered this place from a friend of mines who attended a bridal shower here a couple of months ago. I recently had a birthday dinner with 12 people in attendance over the weekend and my guest and I had a beautiful time! The hospitality was 5 star, from the appetizers to the main entree all the food was bon appetit, beautiful ambiance , amazing jazz band that played from 6-9 and overall a chill environment. I worked with MIKE to plan my own menu and he provided open communication with me the whole time up until the day of my party. I was even allowed to bring my own birthday cake! I would like to give a huge shot out to JOE my server!!!! His hospitality is impeccable, very personable, and made me feel like a princess!!! Every Saturday night this place has a jazz band. If you are thinking about planning your next adult event this is definitely the place to have it! You are also welcome to sit around the bar for drinks as well instead of sitting at a table. There is also limited outdoor seating to chill with friends and family.”

The owner/executive chef made a point to personally welcome guests, which immediately sets a different tone, and our waiter was attentive without ever feeling overbearing. What stood out most is how intentional everything feels behind the scenes. Nothing felt rushed and nothing felt overlooked, which allowed us to actually slow down and enjoy the full experience over the course of the night. This is the kind of place where you end up staying longer than you planned to, not because you have to, but because you want to. They feature live jazz on Friday and Saturday’s beginning in May, which feels very aligned with the overall atmosphere. Definitely one of the more thoughtfully executed dining experiences in the area.”

The service was great and really made the whole experience feel special.
