“You smell the food as you are walking in! Startednoff with a cucumber mint infused water that was really refreshing. Ordered the mafia and cheese for my girl and I got the surf and turf. For my surf and turf both the lobster and steak was top notch but believe it or not it was the dressing that stole the show lmao my girl couldn't believe how good it was. Literally life changing was the only way I can put it. We gonna try come for father day so we can do a tasting. we enjoyed ourselves. And the owner im assuming came out and blessed us with her presence making sure we were ok and taken care of thank you so much for the hospitality”
“Visited this establishment this evening to celebrate my father in laws 88th birthday. Food was phenomenal. Huge portions, great flavor, pricing is fair for the quality of food you're getting. Staff EXCELLENT!! Ms. Patricia was very informative on the menu. I Will definitely visit this establishment again. Can't wait to see y'all for brunch 😋 A Million Thank You's for such a pleasant experience this evening! May God continue to Bless this restaurant 🙏 🙌”
“When I say everything from the decor, the music, the hosts, and the wait staff is amazing, I am not exaggerating. Even the water tastes great and extremely refreshing. We ordered the Grand Tasting, which allowed us to receive three entrees. Each portion was healthy to allow us to enjoy each. The food was definitely seasoned, tender, and flavorful. We plan to visit again soon.”
“A Masterclass in Brunch & Hospitality It is rare to find a venue that balances an intimate atmosphere with such a high caliber of soul food. I was pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately, as the quality of this brunch and the hospitality suggests there should be a line out the door. The Culinary Experience • The Libations: I began with the mango mimosa crisp, vibrant, and mixed with an expert hand. • The Savory: The hashbrown au gratin with Cajun chicken was a revelation; every bite was a sophisticated blend of heat and comfort. Equally impressive was the pot roast egg frittata. It is rare to find a kitchen that seasons with such precision even the eggs were flavorful and masterfully prepared. • The Sweet: To finish, the peach pound cake French toast provided a delicate, decadent sweetness that rounded out the afternoon perfectly. Exceptional Service The service was nothing short of phenomenal. I was delighted to learn that our attentive server is actually the owner’s son. From one "boy mom" to another: you have done a magnificent job! It is clear that excellence runs in the family at The Soul Food Lounge. The Verdict: If you are looking for a refined yet soulful brunch experience without the typical city wait times, this is an absolute must-visit.”
“This place is AH-MAZING!!! The vibes, the service, the food, everything! We went on a Saturday and there was a DJ who played live jazz. The decor is beautiful and our server Kendall was beyond great! The owner Tiffany was so sweet and greeted each table personally, even stayed to chat. I'm so glad my daughter selected this place to dine. We will be back!”
