“We did The Vault tasting and had a fantastic experience with our tasting guide Caitlin. The Vault experience includes a charcuterie board and cocktail, a couple of tastings of their standard line up ryes / bourbon, and then you go to The Vault (literally a formal bank vault) and learn about their reserves and can select several exclusives to taste. Caitlin did an incredible job explaining the history and distilling process. Highly recommend for rye fans!”

“We arrived in Louisville on Thursday for the Derby and decided to do a whiskey and bourbon tasting at the Whistle Pig Vault. It was surely one of the highlights of our trip. The various whiskey and bourbon we tasted were delicious. However what made the session was our server Hannah. Such a beautiful young lady with an exceptional personality and extremely knowledgeable about the products and process surrounding whiskey and bourbon as well as the history of the company. She truly made the experience funny, fun and personable. If you can seat with Hannah, you will have a blast. We will surely be back!”

“Such an amazing experience ! The Whistle Pig Vault is based out of an old bank and it still holds the whimsy of the old bank style interior with the vault available for those that are doing private tastings. *Also a great photo spot! Our bartender Penny was amazing! She was engaging, funny and very hospitable during our entire reservation! I opted for the paper plane cocktail which is what they are known for as it is a pneumatic based drink that gets pushed through an old bank teller tube structure. The cocktail itself was refreshing and delicious with the addition of the aperol. At the time of my visit they also had the LE 10 YR gold pig which we got to dip ourselves! The overall experience was amazing so I highly recommend making that reservation at the bar.”

“While in Louisville we decided on a tasting at the whistle pig vault. This was truly a unique experience that we all enjoyed ( even the non bourbon drinkers). They supplied us some cashews, chips, and delicious bacon jam to snack on during the tasting. There were no other food options. Our guide/waitress was fantastic and knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout our visit. We even dipped our own pig!”

“This space is truly beautiful! Not large, but the details were lovely. Didn’t realize reservations were required but got lucky they were able to squeeze us in. There was an amazing group of women running the show and they were killing it. The cocktails we had were delicious. Also had a pour of the boss hog feather and flame and it was next level! Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.”
