“Natasha is always the best, she is now in the kitchen with her mom. And this place is just a great classic South Grand resturant. The food is always incredible and the cocktail selection is world class. I can't say enough how much I love this is place. South Grand has the best food and this place is one of them.”
“Phenomenal. The incredible Persian food is back. Had the chenjeh beef kabob, the beef tongue, and the gormeh sabzi. All superlative. The cocktails are wonderful, and we were treated to a tableside education in Italian digestifs. Service was friendly and attentive, and atmosphere is comfy and welcoming. And the bar has a dazzling array of bottles.”
“We had the most fabulous cocktail experience! Their Cinnamon Cocktail is a must try. Smoked and delicious! The service was outstanding and the atmosphere perfect for cocktails and catching up with friends. Highly recommend🌺.”
“Fantastic food, especially the lamb. The Negroni Jello Shot was like nothing I've ever had before. We also really enjoyed the Gin Tasting, we had so many interesting gins that we had never heard of before. We'll definitely be back!”
“The place has a nice vibe, got the hummus and a couple of drinks. The hummus was pretty poor, specially given the Mediterranean flare this place has. The “Put a Ring on It” was really good, a perfect blend of Gin and sweetness. The espresso martini was not, as it tasted almost batch made (I don’t think they batch make it, but it was very poor in taste). The hummus was supposed to have pomegranate seeds, which it did not. It was essentially flavorless and lacking salt. A big disappointment. But the biggest issue was the “Barbari bread”, as it was pretty stale. It did not have the smoothness of warmed pita and it did not have crispness of crisp hummus side bread, it was a horrible middle ground of staleness. Hard to break apart, and rubbery when chewed. That mixed with the flavorless hummus without its standout ingredient delivered a very poor experience. The only thing to celebrate was the “Put a ring on it” cocktail. Aside from the Waite coming 20 minutes later to ask us again if we wanted something to eat only to remember that we had asked for the hummus 20 minutes ago. Not his fault, I myself have a terrible memory and would be a poor waiter, but it does add to the experience of over-priced drinks and poor food.”
