“My local friend has been trying to take me here for years and we’ve just never been able to beat the crowd. We popped in to get a few cocktails, eat great food and yap! We had an absolutely perfect evening! Delicious vodka martinis, we split the steak tartar, ribeye and malfadine pasta, asparagus and finished with a tiramisu. It was truly the perfect evening. Everything was cooked perfectly, with excellent timing and the drinks were so good we had to take a Lyft home (if you know you know). I have never left a review for any business but this experience was so incredible I had to. Shout out to our server, I cannot be sure of her name, but I believe it was Adriana. If you’re seeing this, we’re the silly girls who fought over the bill so aggressively we accidentally broke a martini glass. Which mind you, was such good quality it was a clean split. Also to mention, the staff was so kind when helping us clean up. 10/10. Wish I could come back every day!”

“My favorite downtown dining spot for 2+ years now. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. However, being nit-picky here, initial drink orders from the bar were noticeably slow this time. Our server did apologize for the wait time and after that was sorted out the rest of the evening service was on point. Being of Italian lineage, one can call me a tiramisu snob. If a restaurant offers this, I am certainly going to sample the dessert and rate it. For the past few years the West Michigan Tiramisu Gold Standard has been Pietro's. The next runner up hasn't been close. Until yesterday. Allow me to state, that if Gin Gin's properly chilled this dessert, and presented it with a chilled spoon, I believe it may have pushed Pietro's off the perch. Very well crafted and the flavors across the pallete were distinguishable and well proportioned. Multiple textures as well presented neatly in a dessert glass. Very well done. It just wasn't chilled properly as stated before. I was so impressed that a return visit for dessert and coffee later in the service hours is on my list for follow up.”

“Came here for the first time with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day weekend; came on the Sunday after. Ordered a couple drinks, Ceviche, split the ribeye and got the Parker House Rolls, Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini. Then we got the chocolate cake for dessert and had to wait because they had to make more but it was totally worth the wait. We also had a couple of the espresso martinis. Our server was amazing and very friendly. If you’re looking for a for time, great atmosphere and excellent food, then look no further than Gin Gin’s. Can’t wait to comeback!”

“FIVE STARS — and I would give six if I could! Ate at Gin Gin’s today and let me just say… I was NOT prepared for how good everything was. We ordered the Delmonico steak (perfect medium), steak tartare, Parker House rolls, Wedge salad, and oysters — and whew, somebody in that kitchen loves the people because every bite was 🔥🔥🔥. The oysters were so fresh they basically introduced themselves. The Parker House rolls were soft, buttery clouds of happiness. The steak tartare? Fancy, flavorful, and fabulous. And that Delmonico had just the right weight to it… upscale, hearty, and cooked exactly how I asked. Chef understood the assignment. Period. Now let’s talk about our server Collin (really the bartender) FULL of personality, attentive, fun, and made the whole experience even better. We love good food, but we LOVE good service, and he delivered both with a smile and great energy. They have amazing dessert options, but listen… we were already in a food coma and had to tap out 😂 (which just means we’ll be back, because priorities). If you’re thinking about going — GO. And if there’s a wait, get on the list, stretch a little, say a prayer, and prepare your taste buds for joy. “First time here and was impressed. Upon arrival for our reservation they sat us almost instantly even though there was a wait at the door. This was incredible. Service was prompt and continued all the way through dinner. We had 4 in our party and ordered 4 full meals and appetizer, drinks. Everything we ordered came out hot, fast and tasted very good. Noise was pretty loud as we were seated directly behind host booth and directly next to the bar. At times it was very loud. On occasion when the door opened you received a cold breeze that gives a chill at our location of seating. Overall pretty good place and recommend going at least once to see if its something you like.”
