Moose & Maple

“We were hesitant given the previous bad reviews however it seems the restaurant has been rebranded to Moose & Maple. We went on a Saturday night (staying at Timber Ridge). Very friendly hostess and waitress. Our food came within 10 minutes and was well prepared (lemon chicken and vegetable du joir below). We came early - didn’t need reservations. Seems like they made the much needed changes from the previous establishment.”

“We were a bit skeptical about the place due to the bad reviews but ended up eating there as its the only place on premises. I'm glad we gave it a chance! Our hostess/waitress was very nice and gave us just enough attention. She made sure we had all we needed and we did not feel rushed. We ordered all 4 appetizers instead of a full dish. The portions were huge! Way more food than two people can eat for a very good price. The cheese curds were good. No different then any other place. The garlic parm chicken wings were great. The burnt ends had some fatty pieces but over all great flavor. Would definitely get those again. The tater tots with pulled pork were also good.”

“We were looking for a good place to have barbecue since we weren't from the area and this is where Google brought us! We didn't realize that when we got there that it was actually inside of a water park hotel. We had a nice view of the waterpark at the table we were sitting at. The menu was a little bit Limited so it was hard to decide what to get. We've seen that they had burnt ends and that's not something that we usually see on a menu so we were looking forward to trying those out, they were a little bit fatty but they tasted great the barbecue sauce was fantastic! We also tried the cheese curds were alright but the dipping sauce wasn't that great. After receiving our check we waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to come back and take our payment but she never did so we ended up giving it to another waitress so that we could leave. It was an okay experience and I really did like the barbecue sauce but we're not from the area so I doubt that we will probably return.”

“The waitress barely spoke to us. I got the grilled cheese sandwich. The bread was nearly burnt and the cheese inside wasn't even melted. Food was cold. My son got the kids burger, the patty was burnt. The food was insanely expensive. Would not return. Only went for the convenience of being on site.”

“Went to breakfast here and we had a party of 13. Seating was an issue, they would not combine two long tables that were available for seating so our party could sit together. Instead they sat our party in two separate booth tables back to back from each other. Then once seated, we waited over 30min for someone to take our order then another 40 min waiting for our food. Everyone’s food arrived except the kids who only had pancakes and fruit. They then brought out the food of the table next to us who were seated way after our table and the kids had yet to receive their meal. All of our food was cold when arrived to the table. On top of all this bad service, gratuity is included. You have no choice but to tip for this terrible food and experience. I would highly recommend you go somewhere else. Food and service are not worth your time or money. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this was a horrible experience, wasted our entire morning and no one enjoyed their time or food. Would hate for someone else to go there because it’s convenient. I give them zero starts but was forced to click one star.”
