“I truly enjoyed myself. I traveled over an hour to experience opening night, and was thoroughly pleased!!! The service, the food, and vibes were all A1! Can’t wait to come back!!! Toast to Toast Bar & Grille🥂”
“10/10 of ten everything about this dining experience was top tier. During the opening weekend, I had amazing service, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone.”
“Took my wife out to Toast Bar & Grill and I'll be honest — I wasn't expecting to be this impressed. New spot just opened in Greensboro and they came out the gate swinging. The atmosphere is different from anything else in the city. Big space, great music, ATL vibes, and they even have an outdoor bar and seating area. It feels like a real experience, not just dinner. We ordered a lot. Lamb chops, ox tail, grilled chicken wings, blackened chicken alfredo, lobster bites, salmon mac n cheese, rosemary mashed potatoes, cinnamon toast crunch chicken and waffles, red velvet chicken and waffles. Everything came out looking almost too good to eat. Almost. The grilled chicken wings were the highlight for me — and I've had a lot of wings. The ox tail and blackened chicken alfredo were right behind it. The rosemary mashed potatoes were different but in the best way possible. My wife got the bubble gum martini and even I had to admit the presentation was impressive. This place takes pride in everything they put out. Greensboro needed this. Go check it out before everyone else catches on.”
“I recently had the opportunity to visit Toast Bar and Grille in Greensboro, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this wasn't just another restaurant—it was an experience. The atmosphere and vibe were absolutely amazing. The aesthetics of the building are beautiful, modern, and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a night out. The live band and singers brought incredible energy to the space. The music was on point, the performers were talented, and the entire environment felt lively, fun, and sophisticated at the same time. The food was delicious across the board, and the drinks were equally impressive. Everything was well-prepared, flavorful, and worth the visit. One of the highlights of the evening was our waitress. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name, but she was outstanding. She was knowledgeable about the menu, reassuring when we had questions, patient with my husband and I, and genuinely attentive throughout the evening. Great service can make or break a dining experience, and she definitely elevated ours. If I had to mention an area for improvement, it would be the wait time for food. We waited a little over 30 minutes for our meal. However, considering that Toast Bar and Grille has just opened, I think that's understandable. New restaurants often experience growing pains as they work through demand, staffing, and operational adjustments. The important thing is that the food was worth the wait, and I expect service times will improve as they continue to settle in. As for some of the negative reviews I've seen, I think it's important to keep perspective. If you're expecting perfection from a brand-new establishment during its opening period, you may be setting unrealistic expectations. Every successful restaurant has to work through initial challenges. If you're unwilling to be patient, appreciate the atmosphere, enjoy live entertainment, and give a new business the opportunity to find its rhythm, then this may simply not be the place for you. Constructive feedback is fair, but some complaints seem to overlook the fact that this business is just getting started. Overall, Toast Bar and Grille has brought something fresh and exciting to Greensboro. Great food, excellent drinks, beautiful décor, talented entertainers, and exceptional customer service make it a place I'll gladly return to. I'm excited to see how they continue to grow and improve because the foundation they've built is already impressive.”
“Myself and my wife went to brunch on a Saturday, the menu is not built for brunch. The drink options are great and colorful. They offer breakfast items but not the traditional brunch menu options. The red velvet waffles were plan waffles with red coloring. The grits (stone ground) are a great choice for grits but they were under cooked today and when we got them they had crusted over from sitting to long, the bacon was crispy and under cooked. The server was great and helpful, but Toast hear me now, Validate parking would go a long way. Our meal $60 plus, Tip 15%, and parking &11.75, so Toast think about Validate parking, don't punish your guest for that.”
