Vier was started by a group of friends who were looking for a bar that had a modern feel, large drink selection, and amazing food. Sure, Milwaukee is known for its craft breweries and for having a “bar on every corner”. But Vier North is not meant to be just another local bar. Vier, which is German for four (4), is a nod to our four owners and the historically German neighborhood in which we reside. Previously, our location was home to the iconic Vitucci’s bar. Vier North’s logo utilizes the historic Vitucci’s “V”, as a tribute to our predecessors. The interior of the building has been redesigned from top to bottom, and now houses the largest single bar top this side of the Mississippi. However, even though we made modern updates to the style, we have preserved the history that lies beneath the boards and throughout the building. The classic façade and refreshed interior provide an open concept layout for a more spacious feel as well as a more efficient manner to serve our patrons. We have even put in retractable garage doors and a new outdoor patio so you can have some food, a few drinks, and enjoy the Wisconsin summers. We are proud to be from Milwaukee - and even more proud to be from Wisconsin. Come join us on the patio for a drink or stay inside and enjoy a freshly made-to-order sandwich. “This place checks all the boxes. Super warm and comfortable interior with a huge bar, casual seating with couches and fireplace in the back. A ton of newer hi def TVs, dart board and some video gambling machines plus an outdoor patio. The food is great. I’ve had pizza and their burgers in separate trips. Both were excellent. They do a Sat Sunday brunch that looks good. Their cocktail menu is awesome as are the bartenders. It’s thankfully close to our house and we plan to be frequent visitors.”

“This is my first time at this establishment and my date, my young son and I were extremely satisfied. The outdoor patio allowed us to enjoy our meal engulfed in the alluring ambiance of the lower East Side of Milwaukee. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had THC infused drink drinks on the menu.”

“This was the first time dining here. We came for lunch. It was a beautiful day and there is an area completely open to the outside, so we were inside, but could feel the breeze from outside. Very nice menu choices that are reasonably priced for this area. The place looks amazing! The food came on beautiful china plates and was done with care. It was hot and delicious and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We were a party of 3 and ordered ribs, chicken wings, and a fish fry. They have a nice drink menu as well. My only critique would be that the waiter did not ask if we wanted one check or 3 checks. That made it a little difficult for us since we are used to doing 3 separate checks when we do Friday work day lunches. He put it on one check. I totally screwed up how I should have applied his tip(I feel bad if they couldn't figure it out)...well I half blame this being our first time there and him for not asking. We'll go back again for sure, but this time know to ask for 3 separate checks. Otherwise, fabulous experience!!”

“We came to Vier North at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. It’s a very cool vibe and was not crowded. They have a fireplace and couches in the back. Great social spot. I got the signature Vier Burger, with tomatoes and lettuce. I'm always excited to see caramelized onions on a menu. When we got the burgers we were a little disappointed to just see lightly maybe sautéed onions:/ (see photo) Overall the burgers were good. But the sweet potato fries were AMAZING! I got onion rings which I wouldn't recommend. Little sauce on everything so we asked for some more that they didn't charge us for so that was nice. The house bbq sauce was very good. Cocktails were made to perfection. We would definitely come back for drinks. We got the pucker up and garden party.(see photo) Our server, Janae, started out very friendly and helpful. I paid shortly after we got our food and then had to put in effort to get her attention. A different server, Gus, helped us the rest of the night and was very nice and attentive. We did order dessert. No photo cause it was gone in like three minutes, very tasty. (chocolate chip cookie skillet) I’d come back for the drinks for sure and give the food another chance. Bill came to $105 for 4 ppl 1app 4burgers 2drinks”
