“If you live in or visit Livermore, you need to try the tasting lounge at Wente Family Vineyards. We moved to Livermore in 2018 and learning about wine by visiting and eventually joining Wente was one of the best decisions we made. Just trying new blends when we come by to pick up a wine shipment is an outstanding date afternoon out. Wente is a class act and their quality of their product is only surpassed by their friendly host staff who know their wine and help you find what you like most. If you enjoy live music, lookup their concert schedule. The venue is outstanding. Best cool thing in Livermore to take out of town guests to - book a cave tour at wente, you’ll be glad and your guests will really get a top notch wine tour.”

“Beautiful place to do wine tasting. The inside is nicely decorated with Wente wines and paintings from Local artists which are used on their labels. Sheila our wine steward did a great job of explaining each wine. The wines were flavorful with subtle tastes.”

“We had the most incredible experience celebrating my and my boyfriend’s 21st birthday at Wente, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the entire team. From the planning process to the day of the event, everything was seamless, thoughtful, and beautifully executed. Cheryl was amazing to work with, and the entire Wente team made us feel so taken care of. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The food was outstanding — huge thank you to Dominique for the sandwiches and fruit. Everything was so fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Our guests absolutely loved it. Nancy was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone in our group loved her, and she truly added to how special the day felt. “I had no idea there were so many great wineries in Livermore. Way less crowded than going to Napa. We had a very nice experience wine tasting. We made a reservation ahead of time and I’m so glad we did. The tasting room was busy! There was also a wedding rehearsal going on as well as a couple of bus loads of visitors. Once we were seated, our server greeted us soon after. It seemed like she made a false assumption about us, so we decided to have a bit of harmless fun throughout our tasting. She handled it well. 👌🏾 The wines we sampled were good. I don’t think any of us were completely WOWed by any particular wine, but we enjoyed them enough. Since we had lunch before arriving, we didn’t order cheese boards or any food. Overall, we had a nice and relaxing evening. We left with five bottles of wine by joining the wine club.”

“Our experience at this wine restaurant was very disappointing. We booked a wine tasting expecting a complete and well-organized experience, but they did not deliver everything that was promised. The tasting was not complete as advertised, yet we were still charged the full price per person. What was even more frustrating is that their website clearly states that if the full experience is not provided, only half the price will be charged. However, when it was time to pay, we were charged the full amount without any reasonable explanation or adjustment to the bill. Additionally, the service was very poor. The waiter would come sporadically and pour wine whenever he felt like it, without following any order or providing proper explanations about each wine. The whole experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Overall, it was not worth the price we paid, and it certainly did not match what they advertise. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a properly organized and transparent wine tasting experience.”
