“It takes a lot for me to take time out to write a review. As a matter of fact, this is my second review EVER!! With that being said, this breathtaking venue must be on their game for me to do this again!! This piece of paradise is Worthington Vineyards & Winery located in Somers, CT. We have been to numerous wineries and this is, hands down, the best we have ever seen! They have so many things to enjoy on their huge property...hiking trails, relaxing in adirondack chairs, patios overlooking the pond and picnic tables, firepit, fishing, corn hole, bocce ball court, canoes, paddle boats, kayak to tour habitat in their pond!!! There is too much to mention! You just have to visit to see or just browse their website and am positive you will be impressed as well. Off the bat, the staff were super sweet and friendly! A big shout out to Sean, who was extremely knowledgeable, for taking time out to give us the amazing history of Worthington Vineyards & Winery! You are the BEST! We will definitely be back soon to enjoy more of their amazing wines!!! Again, thank you Sean!!! Donnie & Val”
“We came for the wine and stayed for the views. It was a beautiful June day, and we decided to enjoy an afternoon glass of wine. We didn't expect acres and acres of stunning scenery. Trees, flowers, fire pits, music, green lawns, a secluded Japanese garden, a covered bridge set up with tables for special events, vineyards, and more. Come for the wine, relax, and enjoy the afternoon.”
“Come for the wine, stay for the views! What an absolutely stunning winery! We visited here on a Sunday and thankfully the weather cooperated, as it was a beautiful day. The grounds are immaculate, and the staff is just as friendly and helpful. The tasting room is cozy and warm, and the basement, where you pickup your wine, is delightful as well. The wine itself falls on the drier side of things, so some were harder to drink down, but they all had great flavor. I would most definitely come again, and bring anyone who was visiting as this is a spot worth sharing!”
“Went to the dinner wine pairing on February 15th. The ad said 5-8 pm.was fifteen minutes early. But no dinner was at 6. Ok but by the time we got served more like 6:30 and salad was ok undressed for us. The dinner was good. But again the tenderloins were perfect but cold. And the carrots were warm but the potatoes were very good. The wine pairings were spot on. The staff was very good. But when we first came in had to ask what the deal was ( our first time) heard that it's a great place in the spring, summer and fall. Also super LOUD......and only one bathroom for over thirty people. And three floors down.”
“I found this place while searching something else, wanted to give it a try. Looks like a good place and reviews seem nice. WELL....... NOT THE CASE. My first visit here here. Walked in and was greeted with a hello, then complete RUDENESS! Didn't know any information and the older lady behind the counter was like, you make a decision? I felt rushed with little information to go on. I should have just left, but I said I drove all this way, ill try it. NOT WORTH MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!! Wine was horrible, warm, and just not a pleasant experience. The scenery was nice nice.”
