“This has been next to my neighborhood and I’m just barely trying it??? I got the short rib enchiladas and it was soooo yummy! Both the sauces were delicious. (Not spicy) I would definitely buy this again. I’m not the biggest guac person but their guacamole was good. Fan favorite at the table was creamy shrimp tacos. The atmosphere was fun! They had outdoor seating with misters, but we are in April so it’s perfect time to be out there!”

“Holy FUN! The atmosphere, service and food were amazing! My girlfriend and I went to go try it out for the first time and cannot wait to go back. You have to get nachos! Our bartender was Larilain and she was the cherry on top! Such great service!”

“We've been here several times now and food has been great every time. I've tried different dishes every time and they've all been delicious. Their bar has a very good variety, you can sit inside, outside or at the bar. One if my pet peeves is going to a restaurant and not being able to listen to others sitting at my table, they play music but at a level where you can hear both the music and people sitting with you.”

“Our first visit here and we were highly impressed! The food was amazing. Wife had Diablo Shrimp and I have the beef short rib enchiladas. Probably some of the best tasting enchiladas I've had and presentation was outstanding! It was packed so we sat at the bar, but had excellent service. The outside patio was beautiful and heaters seemed to keep everyone warm on the chilly Arizona evening. I will admit we were hesitant about coming because all other restaurants here have failed, but they are legit and we'll be regulars! Pricing was good and large portions. Good happy hour specials throughout the week, as well. Great experience, we'll be back!”

“Zona Cantina is a decent spot with a good atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite deliver during my visit, leading to a mixed experience. We started with a Happy Hour Margarita, which was a nice, refreshing way to kick off the meal. For the appetizers and mains, we ordered the Birria Eggrolls, Guac and Chips, and the Asada Loaded Fries. Honestly, the food was just okay. While everything was fresh and the portions were good, there were no real flavor bombs in what I tried. The dishes lacked the punch and seasoning I look for in modern Mexican cuisine. Everything felt a bit muted and didn't leave a lasting impression. However, the reason this review stays at three stars (and not lower) is entirely due to the service. Our server, Jade, was an absolute delight. She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable, despite the mediocre food. Overall, it’s a fine place for drinks and maybe the atmosphere, but the kitchen needs to step up the flavor profile of its popular items. A solid three stars for the drinks and the wonderful staff!”
