Step Into the Glamour of Yesteryear The year is 1931—the waning days of Prohibition, when the most exclusive nightclubs thrived behind closed doors, draped in opulence and secrecy. Legendary venues like The Cotton Club, The Stork Club, 21, Chumley’s, The Landmark, and Connie’s Inn set the standard for high society indulgence in New York City. At 31 Supper Club, we pay homage to these lost classics. Settle into our plush zebra-print chairs, inspired by New York’s famed El Morocco nightclub, and indulge in an evening of casual elegance. Our chef has crafted a menu designed to delight, offering a refined yet inviting culinary experience. But 31 Supper Club is more than a tribute to an era—it is a love letter to Ormond Beach itself. The venue showcases rare, original artwork by Frederick Dana Marsh, the visionary behind the iconic Battleship House. Adorning our walls, you’ll find striking bas-reliefs rescued from the house’s interior—The Amazon, Timucuan Princess, and Timucuan Chief—masterpieces that have been preserved for future generations. At the heart of our space lies one of our most treasured features: an original 1920s speakeasy bar, salvaged from a forgotten hideaway in Cicero, Chicago—a town once ruled by Al Capone. In those days, it was often said, “If you smell gunpowder, you’re in Cicero.” So take a seat, savor a handcrafted cocktail, and immerse yourself in history. Who knows? You might just be sitting where Capone himself once held court. “went here for my bday tonight. The live music was great, the food was 10/10, and i appreciated the waiter not rushing anything, everyone being super friendly, and my bday being acknowledged. i'll remember this night for a long time. thank you for making it so special.”
“Wonderful place, atmosphere was really nice and out waiter was great! Food was fantastic! I had a rib eye and it delicious. We all enjoyed our meals.”
“This is probably my favorite dinner theater ever! The decor of the place screams early 1930's... There's a small cast of characters that introduce themselves and setup a murder mystery premise while you order your food and wait for it to arrive... Then, one of the cast gets murdered, and each separate table discusses amongst themselves who might be the culprit... as the actors wander around and interact with the guests and have their own show-related dramas for all to witness as they're eating.... and then at the end, each table tries to guess "who done it", and all the tables get prizes for participating. It was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!”
“Our group of 23 had well planned for reservations on a Monday evening dinner @6:30. We arrived and I liked the vibe of the space. Seating is comfortable, they have different seating options, an indoor and outdoor bar. There was no live entertainment on Monday night but there were stage areas inside and out and I can see this being a really fun place. Our drink orders were taken promptly and arrived a short time later. The same person did also take our dinner orders and they had agreed to do individual checks prior to our arrival (and got the check right including drink orders at the end of the night). Where there was a breakdown was after our dinner orders were placed. Food arrived to the group over a 40 minute window. My steak had been cooked perfectly but had dried out being kept warm. The expensive fish was an increasingly small portion. The presentation on the plates was excellent but it seemed the kitchen had been overwhelmed. It was almost over three hours later when our checks arrived and we all avoided dessert because of the fear of a long wait. We also don’t know what happened to our original waitress who we never saw after taking drink orders.”
“I've been wanting to try this place for some time. The quality of the food was a huge disappointment. There is no amount of entertainment or atmosphere that can really make up for that. Let me start from the beginning. We went for Valentines day. I expected a limited menu, but it was not posted on the website when I made the reservation. Had I known what it was I would not have made other plans. There were 3 soup and salad choices. I got the ceaser wedge. It was ok. Didn't knock my socks off, but what do you expect from a wedge salad. For the "Main Attraction" there were 3 choices: a seafood dish, a filet with shrimp and lobster sauce, and roasted chicken. I don't eat seafood and my wife doesn't eat gluten. We asked if we could get the filets with everything left off. The answer was, "no". My wife could only eat the steak with the sauce she knew would make her sick, and I had the $129 baked chicken breast. The chicken breast was bland and unimaginative. I can't fathom what the chef was thinking putting this on a plate and calling it fine dining. If I got this dish for an in flight meal it would still be mid. Let me end on a positive note. The entertainment was great! The atmosphere was very cool, drinks from the bar are great, the service was fast, and desserts were ok. My wife would like to give it another chance, but with multiple absolutely outstanding restaurants within walking distance I cant see that happening.”
