The 844 Gulf & Prime

“We had a great experience at Gulf 844 Prime. We arrived before the dinner rush with reservations for a party of four, and everything from start to finish was excellent. The drinks alone are worth going for, so many well-crafted cocktails to choose from and all done really well. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling over the top, and the food was soooo good. My husband ordered the ribs and said they were the best he’s ever had, and my Chilean sea bass was fresh, perfectly prepared, and absolutely excellent. We’ve dined here before and will definitely be back again. It may feel a little expensive for some, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality and overall experience.”

“My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party for our wedding here in December and this place exceeded our expectations! Everyone raved about the food and the staff went above & beyond. Shout out to Jamie W. for helping us coordinate everything! We decided to go back for Valentine’s Day this year and loved it. The smoked old fashioned, espresso martini, oysters, octopus, wedge salad, Wagyu filet, seared tuna, & salted caramel gelato were all fantastic. We love sitting in the bar area here, it’s huge! Highly recommend going for dinner!! We will definitely be back.”

“We had dinner at 844 Gulf & Prime twice in the past 5 days. I would have been more but had some late golfing to do. We had a table for 4 and Jamie was out server. She, along with Henry the Sommelier treated us incredibly well. Our meals were impeccable and the Chateauneuf du pape Henry selected for us paired very well with our meals. For dessert we had the cheesecake which is not to be missed! 100% going back. 100% recommend! Cheers!”

“So as a resident of Marco Island took our out of town friends to 844 happy hour before dinner there, when we arrived there were 4 seats open at bar but not together. Asked the waitress if we could sit at one of the high tops(all but one were empty) waitress said sure no problem. Another waitress came by and said we needed to go ask the manager if it was ok. Wife went to ask him he said no, “ask people to move at the bar, that’s how you make friends” Very rude and a jerk so we left, fyi restaurant was 3/4 empty So when it’s out of season and restaurant is empty we will go elsewhere where the manager is nice.”

“Server Jimena was fantastic. Very attentive. The food was delicious too. Atmosphere really good too. It was a bit noisy due to other parties, but I reckon that's not their doing. People was just loud that day I guess. It's a very nice place . 100% recommend .”
