“This was our first night out since moving up here in January and we were definitely not disappointed by our decision to try Adrift. Kiera provided amazing service and the food and atmosphere was top notch. We just moved up from Florida and we are very picky about where we go out for date night. We tried almost every app, but those Slurpee Oysters…those were just on a different level. For dinner my wife had the linguine and clams, and I the prime rib. My prime rib was cooked perfectly and there was nothing left of my wife’s dish when we were done. I’m not a linguine and clams fan and I would order it next time we are here. Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely be back!”

“Adrift is a must if you’re in the northern neck, this has been the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time! All of the staff were so kind and attentive! Every plate was delicious-we got the bao buns, jerk chicken and mackerel special- and don’t skip on the homemade ice cream! The garden cocktail and Malbec rose were lovely! “My wife and I were visiting the Northern Neck and I booked a reservation here for Saturday June 14. When we arrived we both noticed it was very, very warm in the restaurant. I’d estimate 77-78 degrees. They had portable air conditioners out so not sure if the HVAC was out or what happened. Despite this we settled in and tried to ignore the slightly “sticky” temps. And I’m glad we did…. The food was phenomenal, not just for the NN, VA, but anywhere. Full of flavor, creativity and freshness. We had the Burrata, Slurpies to start and were blown away by both. This is next level presentation and taste. See pics! Our entrees were Crab Cake Duo and Mushroom Risotto, also incredible! We even had two single scoops of their delicious house made ice cream with really unique flavors. We also got our food quite quickly which was impressive considering how amazing and beautifully presented this cuisine is. Great service from our waitress as well I will say. I am sure the slight inconvenience with temp in the building on a hot day is a one off issue, otherwise this was a perfect experience and I’d urge anyone in the area to make the trip. You won’t be disappointed. A lot of passion and skill are behind these creations and worth the price of admission easily.”

“What an absolutely delicious meal! Every bite was full of flavor. Everything was cooked perfectly. Even the sour beer and hard kombucha were great. We had the Slurpies as our appetizer, lamb & gnocchi and mackerel as our entrees, and the bread pudding for dessert. It was incredibly filling. The service was great too, very attentive. The atmosphere was decent but half the restaurant appears to be used as storage which was an interesting choice for a fancy place.”
