Drift In is a Seafood restaurant in the New York neighborhood of New York.
“Location 12/10. Perfect spot for cocktails. Service is ok and cocktails are fine, more about the atmosphere. Lobster BLT was actually great!! They do not rush you. There is plenty of shade. Very comprehensive food menu. Drinks were a bit sweet. Would come back in the summer for sure!”
“My friends and I went to Drift last week and had such a great experience! The vibes were unmatched—a perfect blend of upscale and relaxed. We sat at the bar, and Aaron, the bartender, took excellent care of us. He was kind, attentive, and gave thoughtful recommendations. He really made the night memorable. We’ll definitely be back!”
“First time at Drift In and won't be my last. The service was great, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The cocktail was delicious and wound up having two. The shrimp was good, and I love both sauces that came with the shrimp. The fried chicken sandwich and fries were cooked and tasted perfect . I wanted to try some other menu items. However, I was full between both drinks and food. Much love to the staff and the manager Jason for making my experience at Drift In memorable.”
“Made reservations for a sunny Sunday brunch. Son had the fish and chips, boyfriend had the chicken sandwich, I ordered tots and shrimp and oysters to share. Everything was delicious. I would come back and destroy some more west coast oysters. The caviar tots are my favorite thing to order. They used to have caviar hash, but it’s really the same. Anyway, they seem shortstaffed, but we didn’t have anywhere to be so it was fine. It does get chilly in the shade and the chairs are slated so if you are a woman wearing short shorts or a short dress/skirt, the back of your thighs will have slated imprints. I brought an oversized towel to sit on/cover my legs so I was good.”
“Let me start by saying that we love your sister restaurants (Grand Banks, Yacht Club, Holywater) and wanted to try Drift In. Yesterday’s experience was abysmal and we will never go back. First, someone else checked in under our reservation, but the host found another table. It took so long to get drinks that my Hugo Spritz wasn’t fizzy anymore. It took a gargantuan effort to flag down our waitress to get our food order in. We ordered appetizers and mains, but they all came at once. Then it took another gargantuan effort to get our meal boxed up and get the check. Same for the table next to us. We were trying to have a nice meal before the storm came in. Had we been attended to in a more timely manner, we would have been more relaxed. You either need more staff or better training. Regardless, we’re done with Drift In.”
