“Great local Denver restaurant with an impressive beer selection. The bison steak is excellent too — rich, flavorful, and just enough to make regular beef feel slightly insecure.”
“This was by far the best meal we had while visiting Denver and probably one of the better meals I've had anywhere. Our server was very helpful, friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend anyone in the Denver area putting this restaurant on their agenda to visit soon. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back. We had the Goat cheese stuffed chicken with basil and roasted tomatoes served with pan sauce, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The flavor combination was phenomenal and everything was cooked to perfection. We also had the 4 cheese macaroni with grilled chicken breast. The entire meal was extraordinary. I would suggest walking if you're staying close by in the area or taking an Uber because parking in the area is quite difficult.”
“Bison Pastrami Reuben — A standout sandwich featuring tender Rock River Ranch bison brisket, tangy house caraway-apple kraut, creamy Russian dressing and melted Swiss on perfectly toasted marble rye. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, with the bison adding a more robust, slightly gamey depth compared to a classic corned beef Reuben. Wedge Salad — Crisp iceberg with juicy tomatoes, candied pork belly, house blue cheese dressing, sweet chili glaze, blue crumbles and crispy onions. It was fresh with a nice interplay of textures and sweet-savory notes that complemented the heartier mains. Bison Chili — A bowl of hearty Chili Colorado made with ground bison, black beans, onions, white cheddar and green onions. It was comforting and flavorful, with a nice kick and plenty of depth — great as a starter or side alongside the sandwich. 👍 Highlights • Bold, flavorful use of bison throughout the dish lineup — especially in the Reuben and chili. • The wedge salad was a refreshing contrast to the richness of the sandwiches and chili. • Portions were generous and well-executed.”
“The food was mediocre. Bison burger was not great and it had a bone in it. The Mac and Cheese was good. The sweet potato fries were tasty and the beef dish my daughter got was okay. The “live” music thats advertised, should start a lot earlier in my opinion. We paid 15.00 to get a table in the reserved area for the live music (5.00 per person) then you are charged 20% when you get your check (that goes to the band) and then if you choose to leave additional gratuity for the server you can (which I did). We ended up leaving before hearing the music at 9pm. We expected to see a full restaurant because of the band however everyone left and we were the second to the last table to leave. You would think with the cover charge and the 20% it would be for a band that has a following. Not a horrible spot overall but certainly not the best.”
“Definitely overhyped for the quality. They haven’t update the online menu and the food costs more right off the bat when you visit. Then I missed their “20% gratuity added” part on the menu and was only mentioned as “Im sure you know we have 20% added” AFTER getting the final check. I can go on and on about service vs. the amount I had to tip, but the food was super mediocre as well. I can make better steak than this at home. When I am spending almost $70 for a steak and a side (no side comes with the steak btw), I am hoping for proper grilled steak; not sous-vide steak with none of the fatty bits properly rendered. The $9 Brussels sprouts was the best part of the meal. I don’t recommend them for proper steaks.”
