“Nice restaurant right at Crystal Cove. There is a patio area and also some seating near the board walk under umbrellas. Both have great views of the beach and ocean but the board walk seating was nicer. The food was really good and the service was excellent.”

“We had a wonderful early breakfast at The Beachcomber Cafe in Crystal Cove around 7:45 AM. The location is stunning, and the staff was kind. I loved the avocado toast, and the Mediterranean omelet was delicious—especially the cheeses they use! Just note that you’ll need to park across from Crystal Cove. Parking was about $11 for two hours, and from there, a shuttle runs every 10 minutes from 7 AM to 10 PM. The shuttle quickly takes you right to the cafe, and it’s just $2 per person each way. Overall, we had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed everything!”

“I finally treated myself to a Beachcomber visit for breakfast! Folks, don’t sleep on the opportunity their 7am opening time! Park at Los Trancos by 6, walk the trail down as it goes under PCH(perfect for any ability, but there is a shuttle bus) and enjoy walking the beach! It is empty and gorgeous with the sun coming up, the mood is so 👌🏻! No wait when you’re ready to eat at 7. The hot tea is excellent (I had the chamomile), something on the menu for every diet!! My waiter was so helpful! I had the place to myself for 45 minutes!! The breakfast menu is robust. Even if you only want to squeeze in coffee and beignets!! Highly recommend this as a must do destination!”

“Went here with friends and it was early in the morning and after the rain. Right on the beach so great view and location. You have to park the other side of the street and there is a mini bus taking you over to the lodge/motel but you have to walk down to it, then pass the lodges, into the sand/water in order to get to the restaurant. The place is small but with great vibe and definitely great view of the ocean. Service is excellent and very friendly. We ordered bunch of foods. They all tasty but nothing special. Prices wise, expensive but you have to remember that you’re paying for the location so. Worth it? Sure once in awhile for sure. It is a great place to hangout, chill with friends or family and walk along the beach afterward or prior. Overall, very cool place with good foods and great services plus fantastic view.”
