“A New Orleans classic, and well deserving of the title. Last week saw my second and third visits to Brennan's for brunch and then bubbles in the courtyard respectively, with these two visits coming just over a year since I first went. Brilliantly, standards were every bit as high as they were when I first went. The environment, the ambiance and the service were all fantastic, with wonderful attention to detail. For brunch, I couldn't make up my mind what to have, so took full advantage of their classic brunch menu, which offers smaller portions of a selection of their classics. Each course of we superb. Highly recommended, and I'll certainly be back next time I'm in the city.”
“A perfect place to start the week. We had brunch on Monday after the first weekend of jazz fest at Brennan's. What a treat. A beautiful environment, service was wonderful and the food delicious. We enjoyed a seafood gumbo, creole caesar salad and eggs hussarde (delicious take on eggs benny). Super fun to see birthday celebrations - pink cotton candy hiding a birthday cake with ice cream! Sadly too full for the bananas foster - looked like an amazing dish experience. Great place for brunch, I look forward to returning.”
“This place is absolutely amazing! I’m surprised it doesn’t have a Michelin star because I personally think it’s such a complete package: great food, fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere. We’d happily go back to New Orleans just for the food. I want to thank everyone who served us, especially our server, Stevenne, and the other staff who were so friendly. Two things that really stood out were how they made my birthday extra special and how thoughtful they were, even with the little details like separating the soup in separate bowls for my husband and me. We came two hours early, but they were very understanding and accommodated us. Thank you so much, and I highly recommend this place. Be sure to make reservations! We paid $100 for a meal for two, and as it was my birthday, I got a complimentary pink apron as they celebrate their 80th anniversary this year. We started with coffee that was great for two (best coffee we’ve had in NOLA), a seafood gumbo that was also good for two, eggs hussarde for my husband and eggs st. charles for myself. We’ll be back!”
“First off, I have to mention how nice and friendly all the servers are, especially Bailey! She was so kind, always had a smile, and was very attentive. Now, for the food...talk about delicious! Everything was so flavorful and beautifully plated, especially the banana foster experience you get! Definitely will be coming back so I can try more dishes (and get the banana foster again lol!)”
“We spent several days in New Orleans and ate at a few fine dining places, but Brennan's was by far the highlight of our culinary adventures in New Orleans! We came in for brunch, and every minute was superb. The wait staff was so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is so beautifully decorated and pleasant. We started with a delicious Irish coffee and Bloody Mary. My crab cake appetizer was really special, creatively done with the freshest ingredients and perfectly fried exterior. The turtle soup is a must try! The shrimp and grits had a fun presentation twist, and my husband's duck confit hash browns were out of this world. Of course, we got the bananas foster for dessert. They make the ice cream locally and prepare it in a special way so it doesn't turn to soup with the banana and sauce. It was so delicious and such a fun experience. The "cherry on the cake"? The coffee with chicory is probably the best coffee I've ever had!”
