“I absolutely love Bricks Pub in Blaine. I come here often, and sometimes I go there for the exact purpose of tucking myself deep into a booth with my laptop so I can get work done in peace. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is Cayla. She is hands down my favorite bartender there. I walk in and she already knows what I want to drink, which always makes me feel taken care of without it being over the top. She is attentive, checks in to make sure I’m good, but also gives me the space to actually get my work done. That is such a rare balance. She is sweet, kind, and friendly, but never makes me feel like I have to stop what I’m doing for unnecessary small talk. Today I came in later in the afternoon during that quiet, in-between time after lunch and before dinner. I had a huge project to work on, and even though the restaurant was quieter, the service was still excellent. Cayla paid attention without hovering, which was exactly what I needed. I ordered the pasta special, which I believe was the sun-dried tomato fettuccine with Mediterranean chicken, and it was amazing. Since I needed to stay a little longer to finish working, I also ordered a slice of key lime pie because I didn’t want to just take up space. It was light, refreshing, and honestly, if I had zero self-control, I could have eaten the whole thing. Overall, Bricks is just a great place. Good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere whether you’re meeting people, grabbing a meal, or hiding in a booth trying to conquer a mountain of work. Highly recommend.”
“So good we went back the next day. We staying in the Fairfield right beside so went out of convenience. We went back the next day bc the Cajun dry rub wings we were so good we wanted them again. I also go the huge piece of chocolate cake again. Very cool environment, pleasant staff and excellent food. We also got 10% with our hotel key proof.”
“Nice modern place, great food, delicious drink, friendly service. Highly recommended. Be aware they charge 3%fee for credit card user which I did not know.”
“I thought the interior design was nice. Our server was excellent. I ordered the BBQ Bacon cheeseburger, and the loaded mashed potatoes for a side. The burger was fantastic. 5 stars for that. The potatoes....not so much. I got a bad aftertaste from the toppings. The potatoes had a consistency similar to boxed flakes. They brought the meal down to 3. I would highly recommend pulling them off the menu. If they truly are boxed...that is even more reason to pull the item. I was there with a date and she agreed that there was an aftertaste, and boxed potatoes were used.”
“1st time to Bricks, gift card from our kids. Nice atmosphere, fun, clean and friendly. Our appetizer was amazing, excited for the main meal. My wife ordered bourbon shrimp , I ordered a black n blue burger with truffle fries. Food arrived, looked great. My wife’s first comment was good but cold (barely warm). Would taste better if it was hotter. I also told the server my food was cold. The server tried to help when the manager (I assume) came by and she asked him to help. He took care of my wife, left with her plate, didn’t look at me. I had ate half of the burger that was cold and lack of flavor! Tasted the fries, cold, fries were awful! I couldn’t eat anymore. He returned with the shrimp, I then explained it was cold and I couldn’t eat it, take it way. He did. The manager never returned but took off half of the shrimp and burger. The $100 gift card was used to pay the bill, for a night I’m hoping to forget, thanks to the manager handling our cold tasteless food issues. Hopefully our kids don’t ask us how our dinner was.”
