In addition to her work as an educator, Maylani also “moonlights” as a wine educator at Calera Winery, where she guided our group through a wonderful afternoon of learning and laughter. Our members enjoyed hearing the rich history and backstory of the winery, discovering where the grapes for each wine in our tasting flight were sourced, and, of course, taking in the stunning views. The experience was both educational and relaxing — a perfect blend of friendship, fun, and fine wine. Everyone agreed: we’d love to do this again! 🍷✨”

“We had a great time tasting some yummy pinots and snacking on delicious charcuterie. Our furry family member also dined on her own barcuterie. The views were amazing and the couches were comfy in the outdoor seating area.”

“After a day of hiking we wanted to relax with a glass of wine. We just happened to come across Calera. We ended up having the best wine tasting we’ve ever gone to! Our server, Julie, was knowledgeable about it the wines, their flavors, and where and how they were made. We did both tasting flights, and shared them. So we each got to taste 10 wines. It was a busy afternoon, so our flights were taking a little long to get to us. Julie acknowledged that, apologized, and brought us another sample to try while waiting. We also ordered a charcuterie, which was generously proportioned and very tasty. We enjoyed a couple of the wines, but admitted to Julie that our tastes are generally more suited to sweeter wines. She brought us another wine to taste which was by far our favorite. We loved how the wine flights were generously poured, and Julie’s attention to detail. Thanks for a memorable afternoon and wonderful first day of our trip!”
