“Chamisal was next level. The tension canopies paired with the couch seating created an incredibly open, scenic, and deeply relaxing atmosphere — comfortable without losing the sense of refinement.
We were especially lucky with our server, who elevated the entire experience. His depth of knowledge, shaped by both genuine intellectual curiosity and prior career experience, added so much color and context to the story behind each wine. The tasting felt thoughtful, conversational, and immersive rather than scripted.
Three of us shared a bottle of Pinot, while one person in our group enjoyed the tasting experience, featuring exquisite whites and beautifully profiled reds. Every wine felt intentional and expressive.

“I worked with Julie to set up a reservation for my family and friends to visit the winery a couple days before my wedding as well as purchased wine to serve at our welcome reception and wedding and she was an absolute rock star. With this being a destination wedding it was very important for us to serve amazing local wine and Chamisal was the perfect choice! We stumbled upon the beautiful winery in November and fell in love. My husband is not a huge chardonnay fan and absolutely loves theirs. We already know Chamisal is a must visit the next time we come back to SLO and all of our family agrees!”
