Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery

“Stopped into the experimental distillery on our weekend in Chattanooga. The staff was very friendly and informative about all things whiskey. I got to do some samples and decided on purchasing batch #47. It was very tasty and had a fantastic scent and flavor profile. I went back and had an Old Fashioned at the bar. Got to pop into the mash and distillation area. The gift shop has great merchandise and several distillery only offerings. I got a bottle, t-shirt, and a glass for about a hundred bucks. It was a fantastic time. If your into whiskey this is definitely the place for you in Chattanooga. I highly recommend a visit and will definitely be back.”

“We did the tour and tasting and really enjoyed it! The tour is informative and just long enough. The tasting actually came with 9 samples, 6 that they chose and then 3 more that you get to choose. Staff is friendly and all of the whiskeys were delicious.”

“Unusually, this tour is not at the major distilling site for a premier whiskey distiller. That is done at a site not currently open to the public. Instead, this is their "experimental" distillery, where they play around with mash bills and ingredients to create some very interesting whiskeys. Stop in for a tasting (of the flagship products or the experimental releases that happen to be available) or for an excellent tour. The tasting bar in the back is a great setting for a group to enjoy their products. Highly recommended, including for a repeat trip to try out their new releases!”

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and he did a great job explaining the history of the company and the whiskey making process! Would recommend to anyone who is a whiskey drinker!”
