“Today is Valentine’s Day and our reservation that my Husband made at Cooper’s Hawk more than a month did not go well as they wanted us to sit on their horrible covered patio. We are long time Wine Club Members at Cooper’s Hawk but today (Valentine’s Day) since we were already in Annapolis and now, with no reservation, he called Stoney River and they were booked but said come on over. We arrived, there was no wait and the Tito’s Jalapeño and Rosemary Martini was absolutely excellent as well as our appetizers and entree. We had not been to Stoney River in a few years but it is now our preference. The ambience and food at Stoney River was exactly what we needed for a special occasion. “I truly enjoyed the cuisine at Stony River Steakhouse and Grill. I had always wanted to try this restaurant out and finally got my opportunity on a Thursday night. The atmosphere was warm and inviting primarily due to the fireplace which created an enjoyable dining experience. As for the food, it was excellent. From the sweet bread to the esthetically pleasing presentation of my Crab Cake appetizer and Chicken dish, this Annapolis local gets a 10/10 on my list. And might I add, the waitress, front desk hostess, and table escorts were quite professional and kind. Yes, the food was very good and the portions were great!”

“The food at Stoney River Steakhouse was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We began with the whiskey shrimp served on country toast, paired with a whiskey sour, and both were outstanding. I’m not sure what sauce they use on the shrimp, but it was incredibly flavorful and truly memorable. For our entrées, we ordered the NOLA shrimp and the ahi tuna, both of which were prepared beautifully and full of flavor. I also added a baked potato to my meal. While it was impressively large, I felt it could have used a bit more of the toppings, which were somewhat scarce. We also tried the French fries, which were delicious and elevated with a truffle seasoning. And I can’t forget to mention the bread and butter that comes to the table—absolutely amazing. It was such a hit that our two-year-old toddler happily ate several pieces on her own! Overall, a fantastic dining experience with excellent food and plenty of highlights.”

“This was our first time eating here. Our server Ashley was very polite and professional! The food portions were enormous and we were able to make two meals out of them. Give it a try, as I think you will like it.”
