“Nora did a fantastic job at taking care of us! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and with answering our questions as well as very attentive throughout the entire night. Honey Harissa Chicken was cooked well and definitely recommend. We had a wonderful experience & can’t wait to come back!”
“This was my first time visiting Delbar in Buckhead, and it was also my best friend’s first time. The location is great, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful with a really nice atmosphere. The service was 10/10. Our waitress, Karen, provided top-tier service from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. She was attentive, welcoming, and made the experience even better. As for the food, this was our first time trying this style of cuisine, so our palates weren’t really used to some of the flavors. Because of that, I’d say it may be more of an acquired taste for some people. However, for those who enjoy this type of food, I can definitely see why it’s highly rated. The meats were incredibly tender, the naan was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the za’atar fries and the dip they came with.”
“5⭐ Delicious Mediterranean, with even better hospitality! Came in for a business dinner/event and walked away really impressed. Complex, flavorful food and a great atmosphere. ✨ Service made the night. Pedro and Jeremy were attentive and warm, and when the kitchen was out of an option, Chef Danny came out personally to walk us through alternatives. Kind, patient, thoughtful, and that kind of touch is rare. 🙌 Food highlights: the taftoun flatbread and hummus, with crispy fried chickpeas on top as a delicious touch. 🫓 Chicken, lamb, and rice were all solid. 🍚 The fish didn’t quite land for me, and bummer they were out of the spring pea salad. 🌱 The Get Figgy With It cocktail was a winner 🍸, and the baklava was great 🍯, though the rose water in the ice cream sandwich was a bit heavy for me to enjoy. While I’m not a huge Mediterranean person and still loved the night, if it’s your thing, this is probably as good as it gets in Atlanta. Worth going! 🌟”
“Do you like to travel but just can’t get that vacation time? Well look no further than Del Bar, this breathtaking restaurant transports you to Iran with its traditional Persian dishes with influences from countries like Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq. The interior is a luxurious sanctuary defined by its rich textiles, handwoven rugs, flora, and opulent colors. On my many visits I’ve gotten a plethora of dishes that have been all divine. They start you off with a complimentary sabzi plate that comes with feta, salt-water soaked walnuts, radishes, tarragon, watercress, & mint that serve as an opener and a palate cleanser in between dishes. I would recommend you order the hummus & top it off with savory lamb. As for the main course I was partial to hanger steak and the shishlik [Lamb Chops]. It’s all à la cart style, so you must get the adas polo rice! Delicious is an understatement! Their drink menus doesn’t fall short and since I’m partial to cucumber I recommend the Sharbat e Sekanjaben 🥒, you will not be disappointed! Of course I had to get dessert! I can’t decide which one is better the baklava or the pistachio lava cake! Get both, life is too short. The staff gave excellent service that often was felt rather than seen and they anticipate our needs without being intrusive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. They have valet parking at a $10 cost. This place is perfect for any accession. Don’t cheat yourself but treat yourself and make a reservation asap!”
“Delbar knows how to treat a customer right. The food and drinks are first rate and the service impeccable. Everything was wonderful, started with the wings, on to the hummus with sausage and finished with the ground lamb. The Sea Bass was especially excellent, big braised chunks and tasted wonderful. The stuffed fish was a wonderful choice as well. Then desert, how do you choose a favorite when evything is Yummy. The saffron ice cream turns out to be my favorite, But once I say that I remember the goodness of the backlava.”
