“Love capital city grill! I ordered the shrimp poboy and it was so good, they use a jalapeño mayo on it which was a different, but really good choice. My friend ordered the crawfish cornbread which was also delicious. It came with crawfish étouffée on top! Server was fantastic and food came out pretty quickly.”

“I love going to this place. We had a couple of Christmas parties here and it was amazing. The staff were polite and attentive. And some of them were just hilarious. I would highly recommend going to this place and try out the catfish with the crawfish étouffée. You won’t be disappointed.”

“There is no better place to be during the Spanish Town Parade! Even with the massive parade crowds, the service was top-notch. The bartenders were absolutely incredible—fast, friendly, and kept the drinks flowing without missing a beat. The food was just as impressive and delicious as always. It’s the perfect home base for a parade day in Baton Rouge. Huge thanks to the staff for making a busy day feel so seamless. We’ll definitely be back next year!”

“Happy hour Mond-Frid- 2pm-6pm. $4 house wines (Woodbridge brand). $2 off cocktails. Drinks are decent. House wine is not so delicious tho. Service is great. Nice atmosphere, good location. I loved the avocado egg rolls (best thing I ate). The fried pickled okra was decent. Not a huge fan of the grilled chicken & rice. The grilled chicken was very salty. The rice tasted weird (not like basmati rice, more like from a box). The mashed potatoes were fine. The bread pudding was delicious. Very reasonable prices on the menu. One of the more affordable restaurants in this area for the amount of food you get. The happy hour is a great option. Its not busy at all during happy hour time. The bill shows a slightly discounted price for cash payments vs credit card payments. Its about $2 difference.”

“First time here. The place appeared to be short staffed. Service was slow but *very friendly*. The food was not memorable but taste was good. Fries were soggy which were ordered extra crispy. Food on the menu appears to be from a bag, put into the fryer. Recommended as a last resort.”
