Patricia's Downtown is an Italian restaurant in the Beachwood neighborhood of Beachwood.
“I had to come back and leave another review because the food at Patricia’s Downtown is outrageously delicious. We ordered takeout and they were more than happy to accommodate a special request by making the Chicken Parm over spicy rigatoni, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The portions are incredibly generous, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Linguini and Vongole was fresh, light, and perfectly prepared — one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, you simply can’t go wrong with Patricia’s Downtown. It’s truly a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered by everyone. Exceptional food, great service, and consistently outstanding quality. We’ll definitely be back again and again.”
“Took two of our friends to dinner to Patricia's for their first visit. We had been there before both Beachwood and Tom's River location. Writing a review because the owner dropped off two desserts complimentary which was unexpected and very appreciated. They were delicious as was everyone's meal. I have not had a bad meal or have had bad service in all the times I have went to either location so it makes me feel they care about their customer's experience. It doesn't matter what we ate I think its safe to say anything on the menu would be a fantastic choice but I do usually get chicken parm and always get a second meal out of it. Great place either location if you haven’t tried it yet you definitely should!”
“Patricia’s Downtown in Toms River absolutely deserves a 10 out of 10 across the board—food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We started with the spicy shrimp appetizer, which was packed with flavor and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For our entrees, we had the chicken parm—crispy, tender, and generously portioned—and the lobster pasta, which was rich, creamy, and loaded with lobster. Every bite was incredible. The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly paced. The atmosphere is cozy yet upscale, making it a great spot for a special night out or a relaxing dinner with friends. Compliments to the chef for a truly memorable meal—we'll definitely be back!”
“Im going to be fully transparent. Service and atmosphere are great. Our first visit wasn’t so excellent for all 13 of us but the restaurant manager, Melissa called us and after she spoke with the owner, Sal and invited us back. The service was once again - excellent and the atmosphere was really nice. They had two guys playing soft jazzy covers which was at just the right level. Very nice for a date night, small family dinner or special occasion. We ordered the sausage and broccoli rabe again because it was good the first time and again this time. My brother liked his chicken parm last time and my husband got it and agreed. He said he would totally come back for the chicken parm and tiramisu. I ordered the special - stuffed pork chop and it was good - but I really should have just ordered a bowl of the creamed spinach because it’s so yummy and I would have been content with that. All in all - it proves that you might want to give a place another try. You can really tell that Melissa truly cares about the customers enjoying their food and overall experience at Patricia’s and that seems to a rarity these days.”
“Came here for a birthday dinner and unfortunately left very disappointed. Bullet points: - BYOB - fees - not quiet! - food is oily and mediocre - service rushes It is BYOB, but we weren't given an ice bucket to keep our white wine cold. Not that we needed it (explained later.) There is a 3.29% service fee on the receipt. They will charge it for debit cards, too, which I was under the impression that's illegal. There is nothing in there to absorb all the noise, so if you have sensory issues this is not the place. Both of us are constantly at concerts and this was overwhelming. We couldn't talk to each other comfortably. The bolognese ($24) looked more of a vodka sauce than tomato and had way too much oil in it. His gnocchi ($24) was a good sauce, but the gnocchi itself tasted like it came from a box. The real star was the bread and dip they brought out. Had a bunch of garlic and crushed red pepper in it. I ate more of that than my pasta. From the moment we sat down we were rushed. The server was kind, but we barely had time to look over the menu. Once the check was brought she hovered. My bf barely got his signature finished before she collected the receipt and tried to take all the glasses off the table (she did put the water back down.) It was very crowded so I'm sure they want to turn tables, but back off. We felt unwelcome, and it certainly wasn't a dinner we needed to rush through. Safe to say we won't be back.”
