“One of the most unique cuisines you will find in seattle area. Completely different style of food inspired from Banaras. Love their kofta, really spicy and so much flavor. Most of their starters are really good.Personal favorite is the chaat and kachori. Staff is pretty friendly. The prices are reasonable for what they are serving little on the high end ! Would highly highly recommend this restaurant, it is one of my favorite and go to for anybody who's visiting Seattle.”

“Banaras is currently hosting a delightful Kashi Food Fest, and it is truly a treat for food lovers looking to experience authentic flavors from the region. Every dish was rich, flavorful, and packed with just the right blend of spices. The Dal Matar Kachori and Farrey were absolute standouts, offering authentic taste and wonderful texture. The Paneer Tikka was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The Litti Chokha was delicious and authentic, though it leaned on the spicier side. For those looking for milder options, the Kaju Paneer with naan was a big hit with the kids and was enjoyed by everyone at the table. The meal ended on a perfect note with the desserts. The Aam Kulfi Falooda was exceptional—refreshing, creamy, and full of mango flavor. Every dish reflected the rich culinary heritage of Kashi and made for a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking to explore authentic North Indian and Banarasi flavors, Banaras and its Kashi Food Fest are a must-visit.”

“Honey was a wonderful host for us this evening. We had a truly wonderful celebration with our family friends at Banaras at Crossroads, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The location itself feels vibrant and inviting, but it’s the food that completely steals the show. The spread was beyond yummy—every dish beautifully laid out, flavors exceptionally balanced, and the overall quality simply outstanding. You can taste the care and craft in every bite. “I've not seen a prettier Indian restaurant so far in the States. The ambience is welcome, warm and vibrant that reminded me of "ghar" instantly. Whether it's the banarasi print table runners or chai in "kulhad", the attention to detail has been amazing. The food transports you back to your childhood with memories flooding your senses along with the taste and aroma. We tried kachori with aloo sabji, tamatar ki chaat, soya chaamp, litti chokha and rabri jalebi and each item required a pause to just sit back and enjoy the flavors. This was complemented by the masala chai in kulhad whose earthy taste is rich and heavenly. Gurvinder served us with warmth and authenticity that we, Indians pride themselves with. Wishing this place and it's staff a bright future because we need our childhood memories close. We hope to come to this "homey" place again :)”

“We went for lunch here. The food was amazing and as close to authentic Banaras flavors as you can get. We ordered aloo tikki chat, kachori and Banaras lassi to begin with. All of these were filled with authentic flavors. For main course, we did litti chokha and poori aloo. I didn't quite like litti chokha that much but poori aloo was awesome. For dessert we had jalebi and malaiyo which were amazing as well. The service was quick as well.”
