“We had two incredible meals this week at the Tillerman while we were guests at the inn. The setting is extremely cozy, the service is warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. From home made pasta to incredible salads and pizza, everything was tasty and well prepared. We even tried the house made sausages and were blown away. The same can be said for the all of the grilled vegetables we had as appetizers and the diverse selection of wines. We would absolutely go back. If you are in the area, check it out!”

“LOVE this place!!! We were blown away by how delicious every bite was. We ate here two nights in a row, we loved it so much. The beets, the carrots, the pizza, the cabbage salad, the sausage, the lentils, the chickpeas, the sticky toffee pudding, the pasta….we tried them all!!!! Every dish is special, and we recommend them all!!!”

“Friends took me to The Tillerman for my birthday, and we ordered nearly the entire menu (truly) and somehow had zero notes. Every single dish was delicious. I’m still dreaming about the winter salad and the bolognese with handmade pasta. The wine list is incredible, and a few of my friends couldn’t stop raving about the mocktails. And the winter citrus pavlova? Absolutely stunning. From the moment you walk in, this place feels like a warm hug. The fireplace glowing, the staff genuinely smiling, the whole atmosphere cozy and welcoming. The chef is adventurous, but the food is deeply comforting, and you’ll leave happily full in the very best way. I love this place. It’s my number one recommendation for anyone visiting the area and my go-to spot for a special night with friends.”

“Had a wonderful experience at the Tillerman in late October. Stayed for 5 days at the Inn and dined at the restaurant twice. All staff were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plentiful, particularly the pastries. The lounge with the fireplace was very warm and cozy, even with diners adjacent to the seating it felt very homely. The room had no TV which was ideal for us. Definitely considering the location for our future wedding!”

“Pros: the atmosphere is superb, nice fireplaces and wood stoves, great lighting, super staff and nice clean bathrooms. Cons: the prices are astronomical and the food is ho hum. We were here as a party of four, we had a couple of appetizers and two 12” pizzas and we each had a couple of drinks and it was over $500. It’s one thing to spend that kind of money for a meal that is something very special but this isn’t that. We’ve dined all over the world and had outstanding meals for half the price. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant based on their menu and pricing. They also have a farmhouse style table where people from different parties are seated together so if you are anticipating a quiet meal with your sweetie be sure you ask for a private table.”
