“This was our first time at Brett's Hill and we were not sure what to expect! The food was delicious, giving options of different flavors and levels of heat. Tableside jerk by Chef Chris was amazing! Drinks were delicious and atmosphere very relaxing on the patio. Phil was our server and was spot on! Thank you for a wonderful first experience, cant wait to come back!”

“My wife and I recently celebrated our two-year wedding anniversary at Bratts Hill, and it was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. After following Chef Darrion on Next Level Chef, we knew we had to give his spot a try, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was stellar. It has that rare balance of feeling upscale yet incredibly welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the service. It didn't feel like people just "working a shift"; there was a real human touch to every interaction. The entire team clearly operates like a well-oiled machine, supporting one another to make sure guests are taken care of. A massive shoutout to Johnathan, who served as both our server and bartender. He was phenomenal funny, engaging, and professional without being robotic. He made us feel like regulars on our very first visit. The food was, in a word, amazing. You can tell Chef Darrion pours a lot of passion into the menu. Every dish that came out was vibrant, perfectly seasoned, and lived up to the hype of what we saw on screen. It’s clear that the "next level" isn't just a show title it’s the standard here. If you’re looking for a place with heart, incredible flavors, and a team that actually enjoys what they do, look no further. We couldn’t have picked a better spot to celebrate two years together. We will definitely be back!”

“Let's start with the positives- loved the ambiance. Interior was bright and airy. Loved the tropical touches throughout the place and the playlist was awesome. Jammed throughout our entire meal. The sorrel smash cocktail was amazing! We liked our curry chicken and chickpea dumplings (spring special). And the sticky toffee pudding dessert was our best dish of the night! Now let's get to the negatives- we were 1 of the 1st people at the restaurant. We arrived right at opening. So we didn't like the fact that our food took so long to come out. We literally waited like 40/45 mins for our entrees to be served. Once the entrees arrived, we were highly disappointed. I had the Chilean seabass special. The broth that the seabass was on was cold. Seabass was piping hot and overly crispy. And on top of that it was a very thin piece of seabass so all I tasted was an overly crispy and oily crust, hardly any fish. My husband had the red snapper entree which was just alright. The snapper was cooked well, the rice and peas however were bland. Definitely could have had more seasoning. I'm hesitant to go back here but I want to go back to try the Jerk experience and hopefully that will be the redemption meal for this place. Let's see...”

“6/2/26 Drove almost 2 hrs with high expectations. Arrived at 11:50. 50 minutes into service and out of jerk chicken, both types of patties and bar-b-fry chicken????? Why? Curry goat, oxtail, curry chicken and brown stew chicken were ok. Definitely nothing spectacular. Festival bread was good but received it halfway through our meal. Cabbage and the rice were good. Plantains were very good. Clean your own tables and get your own water.”

“Went to celebrate my birthday with my fiancé. We got there maybe 4 minutes before our 6:00pm reservation on a Saturday and were sat instantly, only to be ignored for over 30 minutes. When someone finally came over it was past 6:30 and we were only acknowledged after bringing it to their attention. It’s a relatively small place which makes it even harder to ignore us for that long. We placed our drink and apps order; We got the salt fish fritters which came out raw & the cassava fries which were literally 5 pieces for $9. Fries were okay. Next the server recommended the seafood risotto only to return shortly to say they were sold out. Maybe if we weren’t ignored for over 30 minutes, it wouldn’t have been sold out. And to top it all off, when we were nearing the end of dinner, i ordered a drink which never came. The oxtail raggu was tasty but overall a very negative experience. They were busy and well staffed with at least 3-4 different servers, a host, and multiple bartenders. They tried to rectify the situation but I had a horrible birthday dinner.”
