“We came here for dinner on a Friday night while visiting the area. We had narrowed our choices down to two Italian restaurants and chose this one because they had cioppino on the menu. We sat at the bar. The bartender greeted us immediately and provided menus. We ordered drinks and decided to order the airline chicken and of course the cioppino. We were considering sharing the cioppino but after discussing with the bartender we decided to get two separate meals. Both were excellent. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was easygoing and warm- meaning comforting, not hot temperature. We were in casual attire but I could see this being a great place for a dress night dinner date too. The prices were in line with similar restaurants. I think parking was on the street - we walked from our hotel. The town is easily walkable. We had a great meal.”

“We chose Trattoria Delia to celebrate being newly married, and it was everything we could have hoped for, and more. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team went above and beyond to make our evening special. We were greeted with a champagne toast as we were seated, a beautiful and thoughtful touch that set the tone for the night. The appetizer duck was rich, tender, and full of flavor. For our mains, I had the shrimp pasta and my husband had the risotto; both dishes were absolutely delicious, clearly crafted with care and passion. The bartender recommended a bubbly to pair with our meal, and it was spot on, elegant and perfectly matched. To finish, we enjoyed a tasty dessert that rounded out the evening perfectly. What truly made the night unforgettable was the warmth, kindness, and genuine joy of the staff. We felt celebrated, cared for, and truly welcomed. Our hearts are full, and our lives were blessed to be served by such a wonderful team. Trattoria Delia gave us a memory we’ll cherish forever, we will absolutely be back.”

“My recent visit to Trattoria Delia was an absolute delight, truly living up to its reputation as a consistently excellent Italian dining spot. From the moment I stepped inside, the cozy, rustic ambiance, with its charming Italian cave vibe, enveloped me, promising a wonderful evening. The noise level was perfectly quiet, allowing for easy conversation, which I always appreciate. The service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and genuinely top-notch. For starters, the antipasto was simply amazing, setting a high bar for the courses to come. For my main, I opted for the gnocchi entree, and it was a revelation – perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. My dining companion had the filet, which they declared one of the best they had ever tasted. Of course, no Italian meal is complete without tiramisu, and Trattoria Delia’s did not disappoint. It was utterly excellent; so good, in fact, that I savored every bite and happily took the rest home to enjoy later. While parking can be a bit of a challenge, requiring reliance on meters or a nearby garage, it's a minor hurdle for such a memorable experience. This is definitely a superb choice for a special occasion, and I can’t wait to return.”

“We were excited to try Trattoria Delia based on the ambiance and reputation, but overall the experience was just okay. The space is warm and welcoming, and our server was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the setting. We had three dishes — the gnocchi with peas and sausage, the tagliatelle Bolognese, and the pesto rigatoni — and all three were underwhelming. The flavors lacked depth and boldness, and while everything was cooked well, nothing stood out or felt memorable. For the price and the atmosphere, we were hoping for a more refined and flavorful dining experience. Trattoria Delia has a lot going for it in terms of charm and service, but the food was average at best.”

“We’ve been to this restaurant countless times and always loved the food and service. It has been our go-to spot for years, and their bolognese was easily our favorite in the entire state. That’s why this recent visit was so shocking. I had family in town and brought them here expecting a great night. From the moment we sat down, our server Avena M was extremely rude and passive-aggressive, to the point that it felt borderline hostile. What made it even worse was that we could clearly see her being genuinely warm and friendly to the other tables. Every other staff member we interacted with that night was very nice, which only highlighted how out of place her behavior was. It completely ruined what should have been a special evening with my family. The only explanation I can come up with is that she was having a bad day and took it out on us because we were the youngest people in the restaurant. We were respectful the entire time and didn’t complain to anyone, because at that point we just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. I’ve eaten at restaurants in over 10 countries and have never experienced service like this. This was, without question, the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had, and that includes chain places you’d expect to be mediocre. I’m genuinely disappointed to be writing this, because we used to consider this one of our favorite spots.”
