“This is the best burger I've had in Charleston. I rate them on the same standard....Meat, American cheese, and bun. Only additions allowed are grilled onions, jalapeños, ketchup and mustard if you partake. Heavys is great but this one wins out based on the burger and better fries (came out piping hot!).”

“Stopped in for a fish & chips lunch. The hostess was lovely, friendly and talkative. The waitress was nice, the food came out quickly, and the fish was the best I've had since I moved to America in 2003, and I'm English so I know my fish & chips! Perfect amount of batter, not too oily. It was even better than the Codfather across town (which sadly just closed). The chips (fries) were amazing, I had the garlic herb version, which tasted like angels were frolicking on my taste buds! The meal came with minted mushy peas, which oddly, were served cold but they still tasted good. The tarter sauce was delicious and I'm not a tartar sauce fan, it usually goes untouched. The mystery pink sauce was great for dipping the fries, and malt vinegar was also provided. I asked for bottled water, and received a liter glass bottle of imported Tuscan spring water, which tasted like it had been blessed by the Pope himself! In all, it was a perfect lunch, I will definitely be back to try something different next time I'm in Charleston!”

“We stopped in for lunch after a local highly recommended. It did not disappoint. Our server Ansley, was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. I ordered the single w/o onions with the garlic fries and Konig Pilsner. We also had the grouper fritters. The fritters with the house remoulade was amazing! The sauce made it. As for the burgers…so full of flavor! The edges had a crispness from the grill that was perfection. Sooo good! The ambiance was warm, cozy and very relaxed. Will come back the next time we’re in town 👍🏻👍🏻”

“Pleasantly surprising place, fun interior friendly staff and food that was very very good! Pretty basic menu but everything that comes out of the kitchen is not basic in flavors! Crab cakes were stunning the salads were tossed to perfection and a decent drink menu. My friend said to try the burger next time. I shall do just that! Bravo Little Jack”

“Small tavern, nice cozy tables, nice bar, some seating outside. Menu is somewhat limited, but everything on it is great. Had a single cheeseburger, was delicious, not an oversized burger, but you can order a double.”
