“The drinks, food & service at the Archer are always phenomenal, we keep coming back! You must try the Steak Tartare and the Blar Sheep cocktail! They also made my friends birthday very special! Cannot recommend this place enough, and their late night happy hour is great too!”
“The food was awesome! The cocktails were great! The service was great! We found to our delight that we were there in Happy Hour (so wonderful to find on a Saturday! ) with happy hour pricing for several delicious small plates. The crab dip with homemade chips was terrific! As were the crispy eggplant and the fried oyster sliders! The okranomiyaki was astounding. We finished with the chocolate mousse. 100٪ recommended!!”
“My girlfriend and I dined at The Archer & let me tell you we were blown away! We have both been living in Charleston for a few years and The Archer is now easily a favorite spot of ours. From the GM Chris greeting us with joy at the front door and seating us, the servers working with smiles on, the open kitchen is such a fun environment and the bar team makes some of the greatest tasting cocktails with beautiful presentation! The Black Sheep, Myers Briggs Test and Espresso Martini were all so good. My Favorite was The Black Sheep. We kind of splurged on food items because everything on the menu sounded absolutely incredible. We started with the Crispy friend eggplant, Steak Tartare and Cornbread. The Crispy Fried Eggplant was delightfully crispy served with perfectly whipped buttermilk, some herbs and a Thai chili sauce that resembled an Asian chimi churi. The cornbread was warm like a hug, crisp and soft served with a perfectly spiced Fresno Chili Compound Butter. You get a lot of Steak Tartare in the dish and its served with crispy sourdough bread slices. We had to go with the Burger and Braised Short Ribs for dinner. The Archer Burger was delicious and comes with a bunch of fries and the burger is covered with cheese sauce. The Braised Short Ribs will live in my dreams for a long time. The Mashed Potatoes are perfectly smooth served with cipollini onions and a puree that blend the flavors together perfectly. This is the best tasting Braised Short Ribs I have ever tasted I need to go back for more. Dessert we went with the Strawberry Zabaglione served with whip and shaved cocoa and this is such a nice, fresh bite! The ultimate winner though came with the Bread Pudding. It is perfectly toasted, warm and served with the best bourbon caramel ever tasted in the world!! This is a true and honest 5/5 and would be even more if that was on the scale!! Everyone needs to book your next reservation at The Archer.”
“The food and ambience are top notch. We had a few appetizers, including the crispy eggplant, which was amazing. The duck breast entree and seared scallops in the salad were cooked to perfection. And the bread pudding desert was the perfect end to the meal (and I usually find bread pudding questionable). Exceptional service too. We can't recommend this place enough, and we will definitely go back the next time we visit.”
“The Archer is the perfect moody, romantic date night spot. Sophisticated drink program, late night bites available, happy hour deals daily till 6pm, delicious meals-- you just can't go wrong. Timmy provided us with the best service I've experienced here in Charleston. Thank you again, Timmy!!! We will be back soon. (Also the free and ample parking in the adjacent deck is a huge convenience. Find the QR code for free parking on the online menu).”
