“Food was excellent, drinks were wonderful and the atmosphere is classy. Steak was cooked perfectly and portions were appropriate. Service was top notch including recommendations. We were staying at The Charleston Place so were also given suggestions and information on the other onsite dining establishments. Greatly enjoyed our time and will certainly be returning.”

“After a long day of touring Charleston, we decided to dine in the lively Thoroughbred Club. We enjoyed our food choices very much and cocktails. It was fun watching the bartender whip up specialty drinks. Most of all, we appreciated the piano music playing at the bar. The pianist had quite the repertoire and that added to our overall experience.”

“I really liked the upscale atmosphere, live music, and excellent drinks. Really excellent cocktails with upscale glasses, picks, napkins etc. a nice departure from the market street neighborhood. The food is very basic, with tasty options but little variety. Still, would recommend a visit here.”

“Such a neat spot but service was really slow. Food was good but overpriced. French onion dip was good but the chips needed salt and were very thin for dipping. The fries in the steak Fritz were overcooked. I had no idea that was possible.. The steak was great however.”
