“We hosted our rehearsal dinner here and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was absolutely fabulous to work with, so attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our night special. They even printed custom menus for us, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. The food was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented, prepared perfectly, and had the most incredible balance of flavors. Truly some of the best dining we’ve experienced. Our guests are still talking about it! We’re so grateful to the team for making our rehearsal dinner so seamless and memorable. Highly recommend for any special occasion.”

“I first want to start off and say how amazing the service was, Julia our server, made sure that we were well taken care of, carefully explained the menu, and walked us through every detail of our experience here, this was our first time here and definitely one to remember, the whole front of house was very attentive and polite. I have never left a review for a restaurant in the past but this place has left such an impression on me that I have to give it the praise that it deserves. The food here is the best food that I have had my entire life, every dish that we enjoyed was complimented with an equally good drink to go along with it. For the quality of the food, drinks, and service the value of everything here is amazing. We were lucky enough to get a late night reservation here day of, but I highly recommend getting one as soon as you can to try this amazing restaurant out.”

“Our group dinner at Vern's was absolutely exceptional and one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a special celebration. What truly set Vern's apart was the incredible hospitality. The owners personally checked in on our group multiple times throughout the evening, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. They even helped pull off a surprise champagne toast after my fiancé called with a last-minute request, which made the night even more memorable. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was beautiful, and every member of the staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. It's rare to find a restaurant that excels in every aspect of the dining experience, but Vern's does exactly that. I cannot recommend Vern's highly enough, especially for a special occasion. We will absolutely be back!”

“What an amazing dining experience! Although a small location, it's bustling with activity and feels like one big family dinner. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and informative. Our server knew every single thing about the menu, the ingredients, and the best recommendations. Yes, it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. The quality of the food and preparation was outstanding. Definitely go with a group, it's a menu meant to be shared vs. an individual dining experience. Looking forward to a return trip!”

“We turned up at 4:59 at there was already a queue and it doubled in size after we joined it. We somehow managed to get seated without a reservation (not at the bar, a proper table). The hostess and all other staff and our waitress Kayla were lovely, the service was great. Kayla gave us great recommendations and suggested the order the plates should come out. We had the escargot and the sourdough and the bitter lettuces to start. The sourdough was great and was very naan like. The escargot was amazing as well. Bitter lettuces were also great but avoid if you don’t like the taste of fennel. Then we had the snapper and clams which were amazing and tasted so fresh. The mash potato was some of the best I’ve ever had. We had the mushroom and truffle pasta which was actually a let down unfortunately. It had a strange sour taste which I wasn’t expecting - but it would’ve been good if I thought it worked. I’ve had better mushroom truffle pasta elsewhere (with the cream sauce that normally comes with the combination). We only had an hour and a half on our table but we asked if could have more time for dessert and they were very accommodating. We had the special blueberry meringue and it was amazing. Truly special and nothing I’ve ever had, the taste was very unique and fresh and the meringue perfectly marshmallowy. If it wasn’t for the dessert I would’ve given this a 4 stars due to the pasta.”
