“My first time here and certainly won’t be my last! Our server Josh was awesome! He was so funny and definitely knows what he’s doing. The food was awesome but he really sold the whole experience!”
“Absolutely delicious and great experience. Atmosphere is classy, all of the ingredients were fresh and the staff cooking the food for you is helpful, friendly and informative. Highly reccomend!”
“Went for a dinner with my sister and it was really as good as I expected. Really good and prompt service! We got combo A which had mostly beef and one pork belly. It also included a lot of really good side dishes and very very good egg soufflé and cheesed corn. The pork belly was super fresh but the bulgogi was kinda too salted. Sodium overdose. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend”
“As we arrived at this restaurant, there was a line outside. I was glad I’d made a reservation! We parked the car (there’s plenty of parking) and walked toward the restaurant. Come to find out, the line was a separate part of the restaurant (for takeout, I think). Anyway, we went inside and were seated at a table for two near the front door. The décor is very unique – see the pictures. Everyone we encountered was more than pleasant and helpful. Both a gentleman and a lady explained what they do and how we could make substitutions in the combos. For appetizers, we got soy garlic tofu, which was delicious! We also got Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Bites and my husband said they were really, really good! To drink, I had pear juice and my husband got Davant Coffee – again, more deliciousness! Then we got Combo A, but swapped out the Marinated Pork Collar with Jumbo Shrimp. They bring out the fresh, raw proteins and put them right next to you. After a few minutes, they begin to cook the proteins on the circular grill surface next to your table. They don't cook everything all at once; they space it out-maybe cooking 1-2 items every 5 minutes, for example. My husband said everything he tried was tasty – Beef Brisket, Spicy Bulgogi, and Pork Belly. As you can see in the photos, the combo comes with banchan – many little dishes of items to eat with the combo proteins: broccoli, bean sprouts, kimchi, fluffy egg souffle, corn cheese, salad, sticky rice, salad (lettuce with a little bit of onion and orange peppers, tossed in a light but sweet and vinegary dressing), pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, and pickled dark greens. Everything was delicious! I’m not one who likes eggs, especially with no seasoning, so that wasn’t something I enjoyed. It’s definitely fluffy, garnished with spring onions. Also, I don’t eat red meat, so that’s why we substituted the pork collar for the shrimp. The 1 thing I'd do different next time is ask if I can peel the shrimp myself before they cook it because after they cooked it, it was super difficult to get the shell off. I know some people eat the shell, but I don't. We wrapped different banchan together, dipped them in the three sauces that were provided, and the combined flavors were excellent! It was fun to eat with the chopsticks. They also give you a spoon. Overall, both my husband and I rate the food an 8 out of 10 and the service a 10 out of 10!! We definitely plan to return and look forward to trying other items!”
“Atmosphere: I absolutely loved the restaurant's interior. The exposed brick walls paired with sleek stainless steel accents on the stoves and bowls create a modern yet cozy vibe. The layout feels thoughtful and inviting, making it a great spot for both date nights and small group dinners. Service: What sets Bulpan apart from most Korean BBQ spots is that the staff actually cooks the meats and chicken for you right at a stove near your table. It takes the pressure off and lets you fully enjoy the experience. They begin by arranging all the banchan (sides) and sauces beautifully across the table, and as each item finishes cooking, they serve it directly to you. The process feels attentive, seamless, and elevated. Food: We ordered Combo A for two and substituted the pork for the lemon & herb chicken. Every side dish was fresh and flavorful, and both the meat and chicken were perfectly marinated and cooked. The beef soup we were served was delicious. We asked for refills on lettuce and kimchi. The portions were generous, so you’ll definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. Overall, Bulpan delivers great ambiance, attentive service, and delicious, high-quality Korean BBQ. I’d happily return!”
