“This restaurant was an amazing experience. The empanada was delicious. It was baked instead of fried, which allowed the flavor of fresh bread to shine. The mole was unique with a chocolate sauce base that was unique and tasty. The chocolate tres leches was rich and moist with nice rich chocolatey flavor. Staff were friendly and attentive and extremely helpful when choosing what to eat. I would come here again”

“We were seated quickly by a very friendly staff member. I got the margarita and it was lovely. Well balanced, with a salt rim that wasn't too heavy. We got a tamale first and that's when I knew we were in for a treat, the masa was so smooth, the chicken soft and the sauce was incredible. This was one of those silent table kind of meals. We were too busy eating for conversation! Next we got the mole negro, which we got with chicken, and oh God. It fell off the bone, the sauce was incredible, warm and comforting and complex with a sweet heat that built up to be perfect. I could eat this all day! Overall, this place has fantastic shareable portions of amazing Mexican food in an adorable little restaurant.”

“Ate on the patio since the weather was perfect. Mole Negro Chicken was novel for me. A chocolate sauce on chicken is an interesting combination. Guajillo mole costillas is pork ribs in sauce. More conventional. Both dishes were good in terms of meat and flavor. Portion sizes felt small relative to the price, but I'm glad I had the experience. Service was attentive and helpful.”
