“We saw Stem Powered Giraffe here. Staff were overworked but still attentive and thoughtful. We were also celebrating my birthday so they brought me a mini cookie cake with ice cream and whipped cream. They even added a candle that was lit. So sweet!!!”

“This is my second time going to City Winery each time I enjoyed the performances. The first was Aretha Franklin she was great and the second time I went to see a saxophone Eric Darius he was awesome! First time I did their brunch buffet very good and second time ate before I came but tried the truffle fries very plentyful and delicious, my drink long Island was good the second time so that bartender knew what he was doing (Kevin, I think). I definitely will go back again. Great date night for couples & ladies night. I prefer the seats up top vs low seating seats too close. Great night with my cuzzin!”

“We had brunch at City Winery and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We were welcomed by Franny at the host stand with a taste of Sauvignon Blanc. Their new brunch menu has solid favorites, especially the kale salad and the croque madame. There’s also a great $45 champagne deal that comes with juices and fruit, making it easy to mix up a fun brunch drink. Service was friendly and attentive, shout out to Belinda.  Overall, a relaxed and enjoyable brunch experience.”

“City Winery Chicago was a great experience. I went for the Chrisette Michelle concert, and the venue itself was intimate and well set up for live music. There were solid meal options available, which made it easy to enjoy dinner during the show. I had the classic wine flight and the wings, and both were good. The truffle fries were especially great—definitely a highlight. Service was decent overall. Most importantly, Chrisette Michele was absolutely amazing and put on a fantastic performance. I’d definitely return for another show.”

“The service was awesome. Very friendly and very attentive. Good recommendations, too. The wine was excellent. I was excited to see a Syrah on tap! I got a flight of dry reds and all were great. The ambiance is visually very nice and relaxing, but the music doesn't fit and at times distracted from the experience. The food was very mediocre but prices were very high. Portions were very small. Even the "large plates" were way too small. My 100lb partner ate her large plate, some salad, AND desert. I came with an appetite and was disappointed. We might come back for wine and a dessert, but definitely not a meal.”
