“This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I would go back! We ordered the samosas for an appetiser. The pastry was perfectly flaky and the filling was incredibly flavourful. We ordered the messob with guidance from our server and decided on Doro tibs, Shrimp tibs, Siga alicha, Misir wot (spicy), Yatkilt wat, Gomen. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommend going as a pair or group of people to try as much as possible!!”
“Went for the restaurant week menu, couldn’t have been happier! Highly recommend to anyone who might feel a bit intimidated by Ethiopian cuisine. My server Feven was sweet and helpful. She made my whole experience very pleasant and I can’t wait to go back!”
“Be open minded and come try this place. Such a cool experience!!! I had lentils, mushrooms, chicken and lamb and the bread was a lil sour all the flavors hit the right spot. Delicious !!!! Had the lemon coconut cake so good!!! Also it’s so cute to see the art they have hung up with ppl eating on round tables etc. Great experience!!!!”
“Pretty good but just consistently could’ve been better across everything we had. The samosas had a good texture but weren’t very flavorful. A lot of the main course felt under or overcooked too. Some were dry and some of the stews seemed like they need more time.”
“First time having Ethiopian food and it was amazing! Messob appetizer and family-style messob were very flavorful; however, the beef was too tough. Also had the tiramisu and tea. Tiramisu was a home run, but the tea was very light in flavor. Finally, the food is a bit overpriced for the quantity you get and tends to be oily for my taste.”
