“The most perfect kind of restaurant. The food is delicious and fairly priced. I had the bluefin crudo appetizer, Italian wedding soup, and the duck. An odd combination, I know, but it was all incredible. I don’t even like Italian wedding soup, but for whatever reason I gave it a try, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. The patrons are cool, and the atmosphere is exactly what I want. Comfortable, elegant, and not at all pretentious or overdone. This could honestly be one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever eaten at.”

“We dined outdoors on the quieter of the two streets where the restaurant is situated. The temperature was ideal, although there were occasional gusts of wind. The service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. The chilled sweet corn broth with avocado, crab meat, and chives was a refreshing appetizer. The combination of ingredients complemented each other well, with the broth enhancing the sweetness of the crab meat. The avocado added a touch of creaminess to the dish. The Louisiana crab claws with passion fruit butter were another dish that was a perfect match. The tartness of the passion fruit butter complemented the sweetness of the crab meat. The duck was well-cooked to a delicious medium-rare with a crispy skin. This restaurant is an excellent choice for any special occasion.”

“I had a chicken breast with mushrooms, some greens and a sauce. Simple, but well seasoned. They let me know it would take about 22 minutes to prepare, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself was very warm. Probably fine for most people, but I found it a bit too hot for comfort. That said, the noise level was great. There was some background music, but nothing intrusive. Service was excellent. Really attentive without being overbearing. I didn’t have a big meal since I wasn’t all that hungry. I just needed a bit of protein, and what I had was exactly right. They also seem to have a good wine list and a nice selection of drinks. I’d definitely go back when I’m in the mood for a full meal.”

“We all know by now that Taylor Swift dined here, which probably explains why it’s so hard to get a reservation these days! The restaurant has a cozy, charming atmosphere and the service was excellent, which made for a lovely evening. The food was good, though it didn’t quite live up to all the hype. We also tried their shrimp and green salad. Fries and the shrimp were my favorite parts of the meal. Still, it’s a nice spot to try at least once.”

“Not my favorite NOLA dining experience. The space is lovely and the drinks were well made, but food took a while and none of it was hot. Our waiter did his best. The portions were too small for the price point as well. Basically $100/person and I was hungry when I left. Recommend for drinks only.”
