“We recently visited this charming French restaurant in Georgetown for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was a lovely experience overall. The food was wonderful — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Portion sizes varied: some dishes were on the smaller side, while others were surprisingly generous. It actually made the meal more interesting, as every plate felt a little different. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant, perfect for a relaxed brunch or an intimate celebration. Do keep in mind that the restaurant itself is quite small, which adds to its cozy charm but may not be ideal if you’re looking for a large, spacious setting. The service was very friendly and attentive — we felt well taken care of throughout our visit. Definitely a place worth returning to, and we’ll be happy to come back again.”

“Had a wonderful experiences booking the chef’s table. It’s a set menu with a table side view of the kitchen production. You are narrated through each course by either the chef or a member of staff. I highly recommend booking for a special night out with one other person. The staff is clearly dedicated to their jobs and everyone is passionate and knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu and food in general. The chef is present and very caring about your experience. I am not big on taking pictures while I’m eating, but I did snap one.”

They do have very good service, atmosphere, and considering how many HORRIBLE upscale restaurants there are in DC, this is not one of them… Fair price point, and food is fresh and good flavors.”

“The food had a rich umami flavor, more New American than traditional French. It felt overall good and flavorful. Feels more like a spot for drinks since it pairs well with wine. Loved the seasonal, changing menu, but this time it was a bit underwhelming. I’d still come back when it changes. The pomegranate jelly they give at the end is a nice finishing touch.”

“It's a nice restaurant. I mean that squarely. The lunch menu was snug, like the space, with a fair number of options. I would say the options were slightly innovative with small twists on some dishes, but seemed to focus on doing elements well. The server was very nice, but by their own recognition, they dropped the ball on our main dish timing, which did cast a pall. It took 30-40 mins to arrive after the appetizer. The pork was excellent. Their cabbage was perfectly seasoned. The scone was slightly undercooked with a line of dough in the middle. However, the butter was exceptional. Overall, an interesting experience with some highs and a few lows.”
