“I can’t believe I’ve neglected to leave a review for this place. I thought I had. My wife and I have been coming here since it opened and never had anything less than a 5 star experience. Date nights, group dinners, friend’s nights out this place is perfect for every occasion. Food in general: Always delicious with a rotating menus. Our latest favorite is the salmon skin salad, and our mainstay is the crispy rice & tuna. Sushi: Fresh and delicious every single time. Great variation of different fish (I’m partial to the yellow fin) and rolls. Drinks: Always stellar with a rotating list. They make a great old fashioned. Cocktails can be pricey, but they are pricey everywhere. Definitely take advantage of the happy hour $11 cocktails and 1/2 off wine. Service & Atmosphere: Place is huge and there’s lots of space between tables so every visit feels special and intimate. Servers are always personable and delightful. *Extra Points for the staff member that was just playing all of Timeless by Kaytranada last night. I see you 👀🙌🏻”

“Visited this restaurant with my sister for the first time tonight and I was impressed! We ordered an Angry Lobster Roll to share (instead of a starter), and while we've had our fair share of sushi throughout our lives, this was BY FAR the most delicious sushi we have ever had. It was presented beautifully and tasted extremely fresh. We ordered two different mocktails (blackberry and kiwi), and could not decide which one was better. Our server, Audrey, added on the experience with her friendly and accommodating vibes. She recommended two items on the menu, so we went with one of them. We both ordered hibachi. The portions are beyond enough for the price, which is something I admire. The atmosphere was elegant and cozy, and it provided a warm and welcoming experience. I would definitely come back to 698 to try out some of their other sushi rolls!”

“Came on the most busiest night. The owner was super accommodating. The bartender was amazing. Excellent drinks, excellent food not more than I can say terrific experience. Sushi is divine fish melts in your mouth when eating. Cutest aesthetically bar great pictures great vibes. custom detailed art on cocktails. Fantastic date night or birthday party get together.”

“Me and my best friend didn’t know what to expect going into this place when we randomly walked in on Valentine’s Day but we were delightfully surprised. It was our first time trying this place out and I have come back at least 2 more times within a week. The service is as incredible as their food. The people are so warm and welcoming. Barrackaus is the main man and will make sure your experience is A+. Audrey, Patrick and Isabella are also top notch. If you ever want to talk about Heated Rivalry, Audrey is your girl. But honestly your stay will be memorable if you had any of them helping you. Highest recommendation and I definitely will be a regular. Love you guys!!! ♥️”

“Smoked Toro and Truffle Box is a must-try! The toro provides melted-in-your-mouse texture and truffle serves very savory flavors. The Sushi boat combo for 2 is a little bit too much for us. But it has various options for sashimi and nigiri. BTW they have a hidden menu dessert Tangerine Mousse. It looks exactly like a fresh tangerine and it’s refreshing with the citrus flavor. 🍊”
