“This is a wonderful place. The staff is awesome, the bartender is always in great spirit. The food was fantastic. We had meatballs, which I’m not to fond of meatballs, but this are Great! The Marinara sauce is delicious, four meatballs, great texture and very tasty. We had some Brussels sprouts, they were super good. We ordered a beef sandwich which like a Philly cheesesteak but found, it has slivered onions. The sandwich was good but next I will order something else. Will definitely be back here, ah and the draft beer was the coldest beer I have ever had at a restaurant. Awesome!”
“This was our first visit and we really enjoyed the food and service. Not much to add other than to say that we definitely plan to return.”
“Solid spread of options on the menu. Went with the appetizer crab cake, spicy rigatoni, basil pesto pasta, and the steak frites. The pasta’s were both ok, liked the spicy rigatoni more but not a ton of flavor. The crab cake was phenomenal, great texture and flavor and it was massive. Steak frites was also a win, shoestring fries and a flank steak cooked perfectly medium rare, which for a to-go order is a tall task. Staff was friendly when I went to pick up the food and the inside of the restaurant looked modern and nice.”
“Excellent waitress. We ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches. I got the salad and my wife got the fries. The fries were not hot. The salad was awesome and probably the best thing we ate. The sandwich underwhelming. The table was not as clean as it could have been. They looked a bit understaffed. It could have been so much better. We probably won't try them again.”
“This was our first visit to Cedar & Vine and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We arrived about 10 minutes before our guests for a casual business meeting. As the hostess was leading us to our table, my 59-year-old wife suddenly slipped and fell to the floor hard onto her side and elbow near the kitchen exit an entry for the servers. Several nearby diners immediately jumped up to help her, while the hostess simply asked if she was okay and continued seating us. After sitting down, I noticed two small spots of water on the floor near where she fell. They weren't obvious at first because my wife's clothing had absorbed much of the moisture when she landed. A small wet spot was visible on her jeans afterward. My wife didn't want to make a scene since we were meeting people for the first time, but what surprised us most was that no manager ever came to check on her or acknowledge the incident at all. Once we got home, her elbow had swollen to the size of a tennis ball and her hip was heavily bruised. Accidents can happen anywhere, but the lack of concern and follow-up from management was very disappointing.”
